Adaptation of the award-winning comic series created by Frank Miller. Interweaving multiple storylines from the series' history, the film paints a picture of the ultimate town through the eyes of its roughest characters. There's the street thug Marv (Mickey Rourke), whose desperate quest to find the killer of a prostitute named Goldie (Jaime King) will lead him to the foulest edges of town. Inhabiting many of those areas is Dwight (Clive Owen), a photographer in league with the sordid ladies of Sin City, headed by Gail (Rosario Dawson), who opens up a mess of trouble after tangling with a corrupt cop by the name of Jackie Boy (Benicio Del Toro). Finally, there's Hartigan (Bruce Willis), an ex-cop with a heart problem who's hell-bent on protecting a stripper named Nancy (Jessica Alba).

Indie crime thriller starring Nick Stahl as Noah Cordin, a young small-town detective investigating the accidental murder of an eight-year-old boy during a house robbery. Along with his partner, Leslie Spencer (Rachel Nichols), Noah must overcome the obstacles posed by small-town loyalties and deep-rooted suspicions to track down the perpetrators. Meryl Streep's daughter Grace Gummer co-stars as Nat Collins, a local barmaid who appears to be implicated in the crime.

War drama centred around Canada's presence in the Afghan conflict. When a journalist (Nick Stahl)'s exposé about the mistreatment of soldiers in Afghanistan is rejected by his paper, he risks his career by flying to the warzone to uncover the truth about the story himself. He travels with his friend Tom (Nicolas Wright), who funds the trip, to try and gather enough evidence to get his story back in print. But as he travels through the warzone, he finds his advisor Mateen (Stephen Lobo) has switched his allegiances to a rival journalist and that the dangers facing him in the war-torn country have only increased since his last visit.
