Magnesia aus Huyot's Papieren Ergebnisreicher war der Aufenthalt
von Poujoulat, der im Herbst 1830 Magnesia besuchte, die erste
genauere Beschreibung der Ruinen gab und auch eine bis dahin
unbekannte Inschrift (nr. 118) wenigstens zum Teil abschrieb Zw lf
Jahre darauf war F. G. Welcker in Magnesia, der in seinem Tagebuch
einer griechischen Reise II (1865) S. 154 dar ber ausf hrlicher
