Green Chair, and Chief of the Division of Comparative Neurobiology, Marine Biomedical Institute; Professor and Chairman, Department of Anatomy & Neurosciences; and Professor, Department of Physiology & Biophysics; University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr.Willis has been President of the Society for Neuroscience (1984-1985), the Association of Neuroscience Departments and Programs (1982-1983), and the American Pain Society (1982-1983). He has also been on the Executive Committee of the American Association of Anatomists (1982-1986) and the Council of the International Association for the Study of Pain (1984-1990). He received the M.D. degree (196) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medi Gebghart is Head, Department of Pharmacology, University of Iowa, Iowa City.
