Biologist Margo Green (Penelope Ann Miller) teams up with police Lieutenant D'Agosta (Tom Sizemore) to investigate a series of grisly murders at her place of work - the Natural History museum. Can there be a link with the recently-arrived crates belonging to a missing anthropologist from Brazil? All that is found in the crates are some leaves covered with a strange fungus, which when analysed proves capable of mutating whoever eats it. When a guard is killed and a headless body interrupts the museum's exhibition gala, Margo and D'Agosta discover that there is an ancient killer monster on the loose.
Babysitter Chris (Elisabeth Shue) sets off to rescue her best friend Brenda from a seedy downtown Chicago bus stop, taking the neighbour's kids - the hormonal Brad, Daryl and nine-year-old Sara - along for the ride. Michel Hazanavicius writes and directs this modern-day silent film comedy recounting the demise of the silent film industry in the late 1920s. Jean Dujardin takes on the role of George Valentin, one of the biggest stars of the silent movie era. George seems to have the perfect life: he loves his work, enjoys adoration from fans and falls in love with a beautiful young starlet, Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo), after working with her on a movie. When studio boss Zimmer (John Goodman) warns him that the future of film making lies in 'talkies', George is dismissive of the threat. However, as films with audible dialogue begin to take off - with Peppy the undoubted star of the new medium - George struggles to keep pace with a changing world. The film was nominated for ten Oscars at the 2012 Academy Awards and won five, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor (Dujardin).
Matthew Broderick narrates and stars in this Neil Simon comedy (based on Neil Simon's own experiences) about army life for a group of new recruits. Drawn from a variety of backgrounds, they find it tough going. Christopher Walken plays Sergeant Toomey, the sadistic drill sergeant who controls their lives.

Morgan Freeman returns to the role of Detective Alex Cross in this follow-up to the 1997 hit 'Kiss the Girls'. This time Cross is investigating the kidnapping of a senator's daughter from an exclusive school in Washington DC. Assisted by secret-service agent Jezzie Flannigan (Monica Potter), he works out that the kidnapper's real target was another pupil at the same school, the son of the Russian president. Then, after narrowly averting a second attempt to grab the boy, Cross begins to wonder if there isn't somebody else involved, somebody who is more in control of events than the kidnapper himself.
