Amongst Stamper's team is A.J. Keanu Reeves stars in this dark-tinged romantic comedy. Henry (Reeves) is an unambitious man who sleepwalks his way through life and his dull job at a highway toll booth. His life changes abruptly when he stumbles into the midst of an armed robbery crime scene, is mistaken by police for one of the robbers and is thrown into jail. There he shares a cell with career criminal Max (James Caan), who becomes a mentor of sorts, prompting an epiphany in Henry. On his release, Henry joins forces with Max to commit the crime for which he figures he has already done the time, and becomes romantically entangled with local TV presenter Julie (Vera Farmiga), who literally runs into him at the crime scene.

Offbeat, grisly black comedy from the Coen brothers. Minnesota car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy), deeply in debt, arranges for the kidnapping of his wife in order to obtain a sizeable ransom from her father, to pay off both his henchmen and his debts. However, all does not go according to plan. Frances McDormand won the Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal of the heavily pregnant Police Officer assigned to the case, while the film also won Best Original Screenplay.

Kolima (Arnas Fedaravicius) and Gagarin (Vilius Tumalavicius) grow up in this unique environment, where many of the values and beliefs are influenced by the area's history as a place where criminals were banished. Though they can draw on the advice of older figures such as Grandfather Kuzya (Malkovich), Kolima and Gagarin will still face many tests of their courage and conviction as they approach manhood.
