All six parts of the classic Doctor Who story, with Tom Baker playing the legendary Time Lord as he faces up to his greatest enemy - the Daleks. Charged by the Time Lords with the task of destroying the Dalek menace before they have even developed, the Doctor travels with Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) back in time to the planet of Skaro, to a point where he could prevent the evolution of the Dalek race. But the Doctor faces a crisis of conscience as he questions the ethics of what amounts to genocide. Will he be able to destroy an entire species to save countless lives in the future?

Another adventure for everyone's favourite time-traveller. Answering the Brigadier's space/time telegraph, the Doctor (Tom Baker), Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) arrive in the village of Tulloch, near Loch Ness. A series of attacks have taken place on local oil rigs, and many are blaming the legendary monster. The Doctor discovers the creature to be the Skarasen - cyborg pet of invading aliens the Zygons. Their own planet having been destroyed and their spaceship crippled, these deadly shape-shifters are now intent upon taking control of the planet Earth.

An alien pod discovered in the Antarctic takes over one of the scientists who found it. The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Sarah arrive too late; the scientist has already become a Krynoid, a carnivorous alien plant life. Although they manage to destroy the first Krynoid, a second pod is obtained by plant fanaticist Harrison Chase, who intends to nurture the creature to his own ends. The Doctor calls in UNIT to stop Chase before the Krynoid grows and destroys all animal life on the Earth.

The TARDIS materialises in an English quarry where Sarah is involved in a rock fall. When she is rescued, she is clutching a stone hand, which takes control of her and forces her to take it into the core of a nuclear reactor. The Doctor (Tom Baker) arrives too late to stop the hand from regenerating into an alien lifeform known as Eldrad, who demands to be returned to her home planet of Kastria. The Doctor obliges, but all is not as it seems with Eldrad. This was Sarh Jane Smith's last adventure with the Doctor, although she later returned in 'K-9 and Company', 'The Five Doctors' and 'Downtime'.

The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Sarah (Elisabeth Sladen) arrive on storm ridden planet Karn, where mad scientist Dr Solon (Philip Madoc) is creating a hybrid monster body for the brain of renegade Time Lord Morbius (voice of Michael Spice). Also on the planet are the Sisterhood of the Flame, who believe that the Doctor has been sent by the Time Lords to steal their Elixir of life. The Doctor must convince the Sisters of his good intentions and prevent Solon from returning Morbius to life.

Double bill of classic 'Doctor Who' television serials. 'Invasion of the Dinosaurs' (1975) is the last storyline to feature Jon Pertwee as the Doctor. When a group of scientists who want to return the Earth to a time before technology use dinosaurs to try and force people to flee the cities, the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) set out to stop them. In 'The Android Invasion' (1975) the Doctor (now played by Tom Baker) and Sarah Jane believe that they are back on Earth when the TARDIS lands near what seems to be a peaceful English village. But why is the local pub deserted? And who are the spacesuit-wearing figures with guns for fingers? The intrepid pair set out to discover the truth.

Two classic Doctor Who adventures, one from the 1970s and one from the 1980s, both featuring those sinister humanoids the Cybermen. In 'Revenge of the Cybermen' (1975), the Doctor (Tom Baker), Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen) and Harry (Ian Marter) return to the space station Nerva (from 'The Ark in Space') to recover the TARDIS. They discover the crew decimated by a strange plague, to which Sarah falls prey. The Doctor realises that the plague is part of a plot by the Cybermen to destroy Voga, the planet of gold - gold being the only thing which is lethal to them. At the same time the Vogans are planning to destroy the Cybermen with their Skystriker rocket. The three-part adventure 'Silver Nemesis' (1988) was made to celebrate Dr Who's 25th anniversary. A statue, blasted into space 350 years ago, crashes into Earth in the core of a meteor. The Doctor (Baker) and his assistant Ace (Sophie Aldred) must fight two armies from different time periods, a regiment from 1988 and a battallion of soldiers from 2688, whilst guarding the statue from the clutches of the Cybermen.

The Doctor (Tom Baker) and Sarah Jane return for a visit to Earth, only to discover that a wave of evil Mandragora energy has hitched a ride on the TARDIS and is now being used to plunge mankind back into the dark age. They have to thwart not only the murderous count, but also prevent the mad monk Heironymous and the Cult of Demnos from unleashing the Mandragora Helix on mankind.

The Doctor (Peter Davison) and Peri (Nicola Bryant) become embroiled in an underground war of gun running and drug smuggling shortly after landing on the planet Androzani Minor. Apprehended by the military, they are rescued from execution by the brilliant but horribly disfigured criminal, Sharaz Jek, whose infatuation with Peri looks set to be cut short when he discovers that both she and the Doctor have contracted the deadly disease Spectrox Toxaemia. The only possible cure is the milk of the queen bat, which dwells in the caves currently being roamed by the killer Magma Creature... In 'Doctor Who: The Movie' (1996), the Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) crashlands the TARDIS on Earth in end-of-century San Francisco while en route to return the Master's remains to their home planet of Gallifrey. Gunned down by a street gang, the Doctor is rushed to hospital, where exploratory surgery by Doctor Grace Holloway (Daphne Ashbrook) triggers a regeneration. The Master has meanwhile taken over the body of a paramedic and infiltrated the Doctor's TARDIS, which he plans to use in his latest scheme to take over the Doctor's new body and destroy the world. Filmed as the pilot for a revived 'Doctor Who' series - tailored to the American market - which subsequently failed to materialise, this feature-length adventure introduces Paul McGann as the renegade Time Lord.
