High praise from readers who purchased the book on Kindle emboldened Mr.Pooter to take his diary into print. Whilst modesty would normally prevent him from quoting their praise direct, he feels it only right and proper and decent to assist potential purchasers in making a decision by providing some extracts from Kindle readers' reviews. Apparently, the diary is "thoroughly enjoyable," "well-written and witty" and "beautifully done," not to say "completely marvellous." Whilst not a man to make many jokes, Charles is pleased that one reader feels the diary is "just as funny today, if not more so."
