Henry Jackson (1839-1921) was an English Classicist who was Regius
Professor of Greek at the University of Cambridge from 1906 to
1921, and vice-master of Trinity College during WWI. Originally
published in 1926, this book presents a memoir of his life, as well
as large quantities of his correspondence, obiter dicta and three
lectures. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in
the history of the University of Cambridge, Trinity College or
Classical scholarship in England.
