Clara, the Little Girl from the Prairie was born July 4, 1931 in
Garfield County, Nebraska. She grew up in the prairie of central
nebraska. Farm life, dust storms and the Great Depression are among
the forces that shaped her childhood. She has a distinct Danish
heritage, her father was born in Denmark and her maternal
grandparents were both born in Denmark. These are stories of her
early childhood and the changes in her life as she left her home on
the prairie to become a "Career Girl." A chance meeting with a
young man from Indiana led to an eventual change to "Career Mom."
From that chance meeting, they have celebrated 58 anniversaries of
their wedding. She raised four sons and has eight grand children
and two great grand children.
Not quite three years old at the time of the Stock Market Crash in
October 1929, the author spent the next twelve years experiencing
the consequences of the Great Depression. Kindergarten in 1931
began school days that proceeded in lockstep with the depression
years. These were life shaping experiences taking place at a time
of growing unrest among nations. Personal values were shaped by the
challenges of daily living. Everyone was affected by the depression
in one degree or another. These memories of school days, changing
family structure, day to day coping, provides a window on this
changing, scene from the perspective of a growing child.

My Time Most people live their lives on a day to day basis. Our
planning calendar is booked for three to seven days in the future.
We seldom take a step back and look at recent events in
perspective. This book is intended to provide that perspective look
at events that shaped the course of our lives. Only in retrospect
do we realize the changes that have occurred and influenced events
of our lives. This process might be compared to watching an "Old
time silent movie." How strangely people dressed and acted in
"those days." We get a sense of values and attitudes of that time.
Then we see movies made during the 1930's. There is a difference -
in dress, in automobiles, in the telephones seen in those movies.
Customs have changed and attitudes have changed since those early
silent movie days. This book links day to day living with the
evolving events that impact our lives, shape attitudes and
philosophies, as individuals, as states and nations. It has been
said, "The only thing certain - is change."

This book is a direct result of the 1998 Nazi War Crimes Disclosure
Act. Drawing upon many documents declassified under this law, the
authors demonstrate what US intelligence agencies learned about
Nazi crimes during World War II and about the nature of Nazi
intelligence agencies' role in the Holocaust. It examines how some
U.S. corporations found ways to profit from Nazi Germany's
expropriation of the property of German Jews. This book also
reveals startling new details on the Cold War connections between
the US government and Hitler's former officers. At a time when
intelligence successes and failures are at the center of public
discussion, U.S. Intelligence and the Nazis also provides an
unprecedented inside look at how intelligence agencies function
during war and peacetime.

Robert Wolfe is the author of several best selling books on
nonduality, the perception of the undivided nature of life. He came
to this perception on retreat in the redwood forests of California
after intense study and meditation. Elementary Cloudwatching is the
collection of his journal entries and writings during this time,
most never before published. This hardcover edition also includes a
color interior with 3 color images, including a piece of artwork by
Robert and color typography. These are reflective, nature inspired
essays, that inspire readers to look more closely at their everyday
life, and the inherent wonder, and oneness, folded in apparently
commonplace moments. It is also the personal inner memoir of a
California original spiritual philosopher during a time of
awakening.

With more than 50 percent of marriages ending in divorce these
days, even the most confident couples find themselves battling the
odds from time to time. Marital problems can arise in any marriage,
and, while it's nothing to be ashamed of, it's also something that
no one, no matter the situation, should ignore.
When caught early on, many marital problems can be resolved if
couples seek help. Some relationships, however, are unsalvageable,
and it is important for couples to realize when this is the case so
that they can stop hurting each other and move on with their
lives.
"The Marriage Exam" provides couples with the tools they need to
assess the strength or weakness of their marriage so that they can
determine whether or not they are headed for divorce. The
empirically-based test included in this text will help them
evaluate the severity of their problems and enable them to make
informed decisions about what to do next.
Based on self reports from more than three hundred couples and
counting, the marriage test has been proven to accurately describe
current relationship statuses and help couples achieve meaningful
results. It is a useful test to take not once, but consistently
throughout your marriage.
