Creativity is the development and use of imagination to solve
current challenges or create innovative ideas for the future. The
complexity and challenges of the contemporary world arguably
require increasing levels of creativity and innovation to manage
the disruptive forces at work and build a prosperous and
sustainable global society. Public relations is often seen as the
discipline that amplifies creative ideas developed by other
sectors, but this is changing. With the blurring of lines among
creative industries, organisations are increasingly turning to PR
to generate the 'big ideas' at the heart of effective
communication. This volume gathers 12 outstanding contributions
from scholars based in Germany, Finland, Austria, Romania, the UK,
Spain, France, Norway, Turkey and the USA. Taken together, the
chapters demonstrate a range of possibilities for creative thinking
about public relations management and collaboration in different
settings and with different purposes. The chapters hint at
opportunities, point towards innovation, and challenge our thinking
about the power of creativity.
Do you know a child who doesn't like to read? After hearing, "I
don't like to read," many times, I wrote "Johnny's Adventure Makes
Reading Fun." It is geared toward children ages 4-8 who don't like
to read, have reading difficulties or disabilities, or other
obstacles to reading. Yet, all children will like the adventurous
storyline of "Johnny's Adventure Makes Reading Fun" which captures
the feelings to which any child can relate. Who doesn't like to
have fun with a parent and feel comforted? See how Johnny's
adventure makes reading fun for him.
Sarah Bowman's debut novel takes a glimpse into the life of Katie
Redding, a woman in her late 20's exploring the snow-covered slopes
of a ski resort while on vacation. During her trip, Katie falls
head over heels, literally, for the tall and handsome Noah Baker.
As the week progresses, Katie must decide whether to pursue her
career goals or throw away her dreams to be with a man she's only
just met. The ending is a culmination of high suspense and mixed
emotions, concluding in a confrontation at the airport that neither
of them expects.
