Die Hard (1988)
On Christmas Eve, New York cop John McClane (Willis) is visiting his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) in Los Angeles, where she works. They are attending a party at Holly's high-rise office block when terrorists, led by the suave Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), break in, taking everyone hostage. McClane manages to evade capture, however, and sets out to rescue his wife and the other hostages.

Gemeint sind hiermit, grob beschrieben, Leistungen wie die Wasserversorgung oder der offentliche Personennahverkehr (OPNV), welche in Deutschland traditionell die Kommunen den Burgern bereitstellen und so einen immensen Beitrag zum Allgemeinwohl leisten. Uberwiegend werden diese Leistungen durch kommunale Unternehmen, sei es in offentlich-rechtlicher Form, in Privatrechtsform oder in gemischtwirtschaftlicher Form, erbracht. Daseinsvorsorgeleistungen gelten allgemein als der substanziellen Kernbestand der kommunalen Selbstverwaltung, welche den deutschen Kommunen durch Art. 28 Abs. 2 GG ausdrucklich zugesichert wird. Der fortschreitende Prozess der europaischen Integration wirkt jedoch in vielfaltiger Weise immer starker auf die kommunale Selbstverwaltung und die kommunale Daseinsvorsor-ge einschliesslich ihrer Wahrnehmung durch kommunale Unternehmen rechtlich und tat-sachlich ein. Auf der einen Seite steht also die EU, namentlich in Gestalt der Kommission und des Europaischen Gerichtshofs (EuGH), welche in der traditionellen deutschen Organisation und Finanzierung von Daseinsvorsorgeleistungen eine Gefahr fur den europaischen Binnenmarkt ohne Wettbewerbsbeschrankungen befurchten. Vincent Garenq co-writes and directs this drama based on real events. The film follows French accountant André Bamberski (Daniel Auteuil) in his struggle for justice following the death of his daughter Kalinka (Emma Besson/Lilas-Rose Gilberti) in mysterious circumstances. Accusing Kalinka's stepfather Dieter Krombach (Sebastian Koch) of deliberately drugging her while she was staying at his German home in Lindau, André is mortified when autopsy results come back inconclusive and the case is dropped.
