This book is written to offer the average lay person, in the church, a guide to help them come to such an intimate knowledge of the basic doctrines. This volume is also offered with a view to helping the average Christian to be obedient to 1 Peter 3:15, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
