But things are not at all as they same. And god protect you if you break the rules... This is where Icarus08 finds himself. A young man suffering from insomnia, he spends his nights searching for meaning in a world where everything you could ever want is just a click away, and where his own father is an agent of everything he finds himself hating. Everything changes though when he meets the mysterious Chemical_Queen, a girl who lives on the edge of a cyber-society that has no boundaries, and will make you face every secret you've held dear... Status Update Required is a story about the ever evolving role technology plays in our lives taken to a frightening extreme. It follows two characters whose lives have been affected by their world in startling ways, and the friendship that forms between them. It asks the question; just how different are we from our online profiles, and what happens when the real world and cyber world collide?
