LA cop John Spartan (Sylvester Stallone), nicknamed 'Demolition Man' due to his hands-on approach to law enforcement, is condemned to 70 years in the penal freezer after being set up by Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes), Public Enemy Number One. Halfway through his sentence, however, both he and Phoenix are catapulted out of captivity, discovering their city has been transformed into a peaceful utopia, under the benevolent rule of mayor Dr Cocteau (Nigel Hawthorne). As a mysteriously pumped-up Phoenix carries on where he had left off 35 years earlier, Spartan teams up with a comparatively feisty cop (Sandra Bullock) to bring him to justice and expose the man who is engineering the whole scenario.

The film also boasts cameo appearances from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, and sees Stallone and Schwarzenegger sharing a screen for the first time ever. Are you ready to be a contender? Sylvester Stallone's action-oriented program for getting fit and eating right is also a revealing portrait of one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Sly Moves is more than just a handbook on fitness and nutrition. It's a provocative and candid inside look at the trials and triumphs of one of Hollywood's most famous stars. Throughout his career, Sly has always been body conscious, and as he experimented with intense training methods for various films, he has learned - often the hard way - what works and what definitely doesn't. His goal here is to help readers change harmful fitness habits, learn to counter reckless eating, and appreciate who they are even when they don't feel much like action heroes. Part 1 is a history of Sylvester Stallone's physique, as the Rocky star shares stories about his being bullied as a child, finding comfort and strength at the gym, and then later, the wild ride of fad diets, crash-training regimens and workout disasters that fringed on obsession. Part 2, The Sly Moves workout, outlines four exercise programs: classic, advanced, women's and hardcore. The workouts only require a commitment of about three hours a week (exactly the same amount of time Sly works out). The Sly Moves eating plan (Part 3) is Sly's nutrition guide, highlighted by a unique meal plan for a lifetime of good eating. Part 4 gives Sly an opportunity to inspire and encourage readers to make Sly Moves part of a long-term picture of health, fitness and wellbeing, with tips on everything from keeping goals and relaxation techniques to lessons learned from The Contender.
Sylvester Stallone followed up his massive success in 'Rocky' with this tale of life in New York's Hell's Kitchen set during the late 1940s. Stallone plays Cosmo, the smartest of the three Carboni brothers, and the one who comes up with the idea of trying to make a fortune in the seedy world of wrestling. Cosmo's brother Victor (Lee Canalito) agrees to enter the ring, while elder brother Lenny (Armand Assante) comes aboard as manager, and together the three of them begin to make some real money. But as Victor becomes more and more successful, the brothers come into conflict with underworld bum Stitch Mahon (Kevin Conway).
Sixth installment in the popular Rocky franchise - a full 30 years after the first introduction of the young back street brawler from Philly. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) is now a 50-something widower after the death of his beloved Adrian. His relationship with his son (Milo Ventimiglia) has also deteriorated and Rocky finds his only solace in the stories he recounts to the customers who visit his deli. However, everything is about to change as a 'what if' debate emerges as to whether current champion Mason 'The Line' Dixon (Antonio Tarver) would have beaten Rocky in his prime. Nobody ever suspects that the match might actually happen, given the 30-year age difference. However, when Dixon's management sets up an exhibition fight, the gauntlet is well and truly thrown down and an enthusiastic Rocky grasps it with both hands. The 'Italian Stallion' re-applies for his license, rounds up the old gang and sets off on the arduous journey to regain his long-lost fitness and ability.
In this sequel to 'Rocky', boxer Rocky Balboa's (Sylvester Stallone) life returns to normality following his near loss to world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). Anxious to prove that Rocky's performance was a mere fluke, Creed offers him a big money rematch. Now unemployed and with a child on the way, Rocky has little option but to accept.
Fourth instalment in the 'Rocky' saga. Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) heads to the Soviet Union after Russian boxer Drago (Dolph Lundgren) beats his friend and trainer Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) to death in the ring. However, will the Italian Stallion be able to vanquish a fighter whose punches can deliver a one tonne-per-square inch impact?
