This book introduces readers to the main types of corporate
sustainability practices. The first section examines both the
ratings provided by international agencies and the various ESG
(Environmental, Social and Government) indexes existing at 2021. In
turn, the second part empirically investigates the relationship
between the level of corporate sustainability and corporate
financial performance among the large companies listed on the Milan
Exchange FTSE-MIB 40 index for 2015-2019. The book offers a
comprehensive overview of current sustainability concepts and
practices and illustrates how various companies are seeking to
integrate them in their competitive strategy. Further, it fills a
gap in the extant literature by analysing the origins, historical
evolution and structure of the main rating agencies and ESG
indexes. In addition, the empirical analysis of corporate
sustainability's impact on companies' financial performance reveals
the importance of collegial leadership - a commonly found feature
of Italian family businesses that has not been considered in
previous studies - as a moderating factor for reconciling
sustainability initiatives and performance at family-run firms.
The book deals with the important shift that has been heralded in
cognitive linguistics from mere universal matters to cultural and
situational variation. The discussions examine cognitive and
cultural linguistics' theories in relation to the following areas
of research: (i) metaphorical conceptualization; (ii) the influence
of culture on metaphor, metonymy and conceptual blends; (iii) the
impact of culture and cognition on metaphorical lexis; (iv) the
interface of pragmatics and cognition when metaphor is studied in
situ, that is, in face-to-face as well as in virtual multimodal
interaction; (v) the application of insights from metaphorical
conceptualizations to language teaching, and (vi) recent methods
for revealing (inter)cultural metaphorical conceptualizations
(corpus-based approaches, gesture studies, etc.). The book brings
together cognitive, functional, and (inter)cultural approaches.
Celtic myth and legend, like the Tarot itself, come from a
luminous space and provide us with a portal, connecting our
everyday lives with the spiritual world. The Celtic Tarots, a
synthesis of the mysteries of Celtic lore, the wisdom of the Tarot,
and the exquisite art of Gaudenzi and Tenuta, aid in the esoteric
art of divination. The illustrations for the Major Arcana are
shaped by Celtic myth, legend, and history.
Publisher Review:
Warning Will Robinson When I saw that the Celtic Tarot was
created by two different artists I was worried. The last time I saw
a deck drawn by multiple artists (I'm not going to mention its
name) it seemed like a total joke. There was no continuity, no
tone, no style, not overall meaning that went through the deck,
making it virtually unusable for anything. All I could think of was
that silly, bulbous robot from the Lost in Space TV show (actually,
it was much better when it originally appeared in the classic movie
Forbidden Planet) running around warning the future creator of the
song "Fish Heads" to beware of dangers like giant carrots. When I
saw the deck, however, I breathed a sigh of relief. This deck is
good and looks...read more.

It has been several years since Shinnosuke traded his former life
as a humble peasant to become Fudo, the master of the Dokutsu Dojo.
As the search for his sister continues, the truth behind her
disappearance rocks his world. A fierce sickness known as the
crimson plague is spreading throughout the land. Scouring the towns
for evidence of its origin, Fudo comes across a strange amulet
described by his sickly mother who believes herself to be the last
of the Hiroku Priestesses, sorceresses of the dark forces. But when
he bestows this gift upon her to calm her mind, Fudo realizes that
her madness was only a facade and that he may have helped her
unleash something that may bring the end of the world he knows it.

spells his country's doom and unleashes an ancient and terrible
scourge upon the land. Beset by barbarian invaders, he Awakens a
legendary hero known as Rakkoth, the Sleeping Savior, not knowing
that the Savior is, in truth, a Dark sorcerer who nearly destroyed
the world with his black arts before being cast into ensorcelled
slumber eight centuries ago. Once revived, this sadistic sorcerer
seizes power, conquers an entire continent, and forges an empire
built on blood and death. Meanwhile, across the Luminous Sea in the
Kingdom of Calderia, Crown Prince Killian grows to manhood, unaware
that he carries within him a seed of divine power instilled by the
gods. This power has been gifted to a mortal once in each
generation against the time of Rakkoth's return-and must now be
Awakened, if Calderia has any hope of prevailing against the evil
emperor who has turned his malevolent gaze upon Killian's homeland
as his next conquest. But to do so, the human prince must help to
forge an alliance with other warring nations and races of

warrior princess, Ellianthia, who would sooner slit his throat and
watch him die than join with him in common cause. Somehow, these
sworn foes must refrain from killing each other long enough to
learn how to work together, gathering other companions along the
way as they undertake a long and perilous journey to solve an
age-old mystery, find a magic talisman, seek out a lost mage, and
save their world from descent into oblivion.
