This volume collects papers that discuss theoretical or empirical
problems from a multidimensional view of syntax and morphology,
presupposing frameworks such as LFG, HPSG, the Parallel
Architecture, or Integrational Linguistics, where syntactic and
morphological objects are conceived as constructs with multiple,
interrelated components.
The only comprehensive, one-stop source for statistics on women
in the United States has now been updated and expanded. Included
are approximately 340 new tables and charts, incisive data
summaries, a glossary of terms, an extremely useful guide to
information sources, as well as an extensive subject index.
Highlights of the second edition include data from the 1990 Census,
a new section on women's reproductive health, new statistics on
women in sports and the armed forces, and broadened coverage of
historical trends. Much more than a collection of numbers and cold
facts, this handbook presents an accurate picture of the lives of
American women today.
The topics addressed in this volume dedicated to the linguist and
German studies scholar Peter Eisenberg are grouped under four
headings. The first section devoted to phonology, syllabification
and the word is followed by essays on the grammar of two central
parts of speech, the noun and the verb. Section four is given over
to the illumination of sentence grammar from very different
vantages. All four sections encompass a wide array of perspectives,
ranging from theoretical concerns to practical questions of school
instruction, the teaching of German as a foreign language,
orthography and language cultivation.
paisierung Organisierter Interessen. Hier fand ich Anschluss an ein
Netzwerk der international erfahrensten Verbandeforscher. So legte
sammenhange. Den Mitarbeitern der Bibliothek mochte ich deshalb
noch einmal besonders danken. Speziell in meinem Projekt halfen mir
auslandischer Bibliotheken und Liefersys- me."

umsetzbares Managementsystem fur mittlere Unternehmen. Ziele,
