This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the Eleventh International Symposium on Natural Language Processing (SNLP-2016), held in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand on February 10-12, 2016. The SNLP promotes research in natural language processing and related fields, and provides a unique opportunity for researchers, professionals and practitioners to discuss various current and advanced issues of interest in NLP. The 2016 symposium was expanded to include the First Workshop in Intelligent Informatics and Smart Technology. Of the 66 high-quality papers accepted, this book presents twelve from the Symposium on Natural Language Processing track and ten from the Workshop in Intelligent Informatics and Smart Technology track (SSAI: Special Session on Artificial Intelligence).

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th Joint International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, iSAI-NLP2017, held in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand, in August 2017, and the 10th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems, KICSS2015, held in Phuket, Thailand, in November 2015. It presents 22 carefully reviewed full papers on the following topics: artificial intelligence; machine learning; decision support systems; data mining; data analysis; natural language processing; multilingual processing; language and ontology unification; text classification; knowledge-based information systems; tracking systems; virtual reality; pattern recognition and image processing; signal classification; object detection and recognition; real-time sensor network; cloud-based services; and information security.
This book includes carefully selected papers presented at the 10th International Conference on Knowledge, Information and Creativity Support Systems (KICCS 2015), which was held in Phuket, Thailand, on November 12-14, 2015. Most of the papers are extended versions with the latest results added, representing virtually all topics covered by the conference. The KICCS 2015 focus theme, "Looking into the Future of Creativity and Decision Support Systems", highlighted the field's growing complexity and called for deeper, insightful discussions about the future, complemented with an exposition of current developments that have proven their value and usefulness. As such, the book addresses topics concerning future-oriented fields of research, such as anticipatory networks and systems; foresight support systems; and relevant newly emerging applications, exemplified by autonomous creative systems. It also focuses on cognitive and collaborative aspects of creativity.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Symposium, KSS 2017, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in November 2017. The 21 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 63 submissions. This year KSS 2017 provides opportunities for presenting interesting new research results, facilitating interdisciplinary discussions, and leading to knowledge transfer under the theme of "Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems for Knowledge, Technology and Service Management".
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference
proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Knowledge,
Information, and Creativity Support Systems, KCIS 2010, held in
Chang Mai, Thailand, in November 2010.
ThePaci?c-AsiaConferenceonKnowledgeDiscoveryandData Mining hasbeen held every year from 1997. PAKDD 2009, the 13th in the series, was held in Bangkok, Thailand during April 27-30, 2008. PAKDD is a major inter- tional conference in the areas of data mining (DM) and knowledge discovery in database (KDD). It provides an international forum for researchers and ind- try practitioners to share their new ideas, original research results and prac- cal development experiences from all KDD-related areas including data mining, data warehousing, machine learning, databases, statistics, knowledge acqui- tion and automatic scienti?c discovery, data visualization, causal induction and knowledge-based systems. ForPAKDD2009, wereceived338researchpapersfromvariouscountriesand regions in Asia, Australia, North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. Every submission was rigorously reviewed by at least three reviewers with a doubleblindprotocol.Theinitialresultswerediscussedamongthereviewersand ?nally judged by the ProgramCommittee Chairs. When there was a con?ict, an additionalreviewwasprovidedbytheProgramCommitteeChairs.TheProgram Committee members were deeply involved in the highly selective process. As a result, only 39 papers (approximately 11.5% of the 338 submitted papers) were accepted as regular papers, 73 papers (21.6% of them) were accepted as short papers
This three-volume set, LNAI 13031, LNAI 13032, and LNAI 13033 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 18th Pacific Rim Conference on Artificial Intelligence, PRICAI 2021, held in Hanoi, Vietnam, in November 2021.The 93 full papers and 28 short papers presented in these volumes were carefully reviewed and selected from 382 submissions. PRICAI covers a wide range of topics in the areas of social and economic importance for countries in the Pacific Rim: artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, knowledge representation and reasoning, planning and scheduling, computer vision, distributed artificial intelligence, search methodologies, etc. Part II includes two thematic blocks: Natural Language Processing, followed by Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
