A double bill of alien chasing. In 'MIB', after chasing a fugitive
with an advanced alien weapon, New York cop James Edwards (Will
Smith) finds himself recruited to the MiB, a top secret agency in
charge of alien immigration on Earth. He is partnered with K (Tommy
Lee Jones), and sent to investigate an alien prediction of the end
of the world. They have to track down a hostile alien life form
currently wearing the human skin of a country hick named Edgar.
Whilst in 'MIIB' it is some four years later and K (Lee Jones) has
returned to a civilian life, working as a postman and quite unaware
of his former heroics alongside Agent J (Smith). But when J
uncovers a secret alien plot organised by the seemingly seductive
Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle) he has to call on K again.
Unfortunately K has no memory of his former role as
'Saver-of-the-World', but somewhere in his head is the expertise
that can save the Earth, if only J can get him onside in time.

David MacKenzie directs this British drama in which a troubled
teenager and his father bond in the unusual surroundings of a
prison. 19-year-old Eric (Jack O'Connell) has had an extremely
difficult childhood. Taken into care after the death of his mother
and the sentencing of his father (Ben Mendelsohn), Eric's
subsequent struggles with authority are highlighted by the fact
that he has been 'starred up' from juvenile prison to the real
thing, despite his tender years. Eric is happy with the outcome,
though, as it gives him a chance to reconnect with his father and
to demonstrate his toughness. However, with certain prison wardens
not averse to using extreme violence to enforce order and protect
others, Eric may have to tread carefully and pay attention to the
calming words of his father if he is to make it out of the facility
in one piece.

Agent J (Smith) has long been every bit as perplexed by the perpetually-surly countenance of his older partner, Agent K (Jones), as he has been by the variety of aliens the pair are charged with keeping under control. However, when alien forces assassinate K with such extraterrestrial efficiency Agent J seems to be the only person to believe that K hasn't been dead for 40 years, the younger man is at a loss and determines to get his partner back.
With the aid of a terrifying 'time jump', Agent J travels back to MIB's early years in the 1960s. Here he hooks up with a younger Agent K (Josh Brolin) and attempts to prevent his death and change the course of history.
Will he also learn a thing or two about the secrets of the universe the older K kept so close to his chest?

A collection of brand-new short stories written by major
international writers and inspired by Kafka - to commemorate one
hundred years since his death Franz Kafka is widely regarded as one
of the greatest and most enigmatic geniuses of twentieth-century
literature. Few writers have inspired as much interpretation,
adaptation and imitation as he has - from films to novels to memes
- and very few artists in any field have created work that captures
so resonantly the fraught peculiarity of our existence. What
happens when Kafka's idiosyncratic imagination meets some of the
greatest literary minds writing in English across the globe today?
From a future society who ask their AI servants to construct a
giant tower to reach God; to a flat hunt that descends into a
comically absurd bureaucratic nightmare; to a population
experiencing a wave of anxiety attacks, these specially
commissioned stories speak powerfully to the strangeness of being
alive today.
Rangers 101 distils the history of the most successful football
club in the world, Glasgow Rangers F.C. From their founding in 1872
and their first (drawn) League Championship, all the way through to
the present day, Rangers' history is brought to life via people,
matches and objects. This fascinating volume traces the nearly 150
years of this unsurpassed institution - sometimes irreverent but
always faithful to the characters, controversies, disasters and
achievements that have taken place to give the club such a rich
tapestry of triumph. Whether an old fan or new this is a perfect
partner for those who support the club, are interested in its
history and who love to recall past and present glories.
George R.R. Martin's epic fantasy masterwork A Song of Ice and Fire
is brought to life in the pages of this full-colour graphic novel.
This is the second part of a four-volume adaptation of the second
book in the series, A Clash of Kings. As chaos grips Westeros, a
flaming red comet continues to burn a crimson path across the sky.
Some see this fiery herald as a sign of their impending victory.
Others see it as a mark of the blood and terror that will soon
engulf this divided kingdom. But one thing is certain: None of the
six contenders who seek either the Iron Throne, or the lands their
ancestors once held as kings, are willing to back down. And as
factions scatter or come together, there are many witnesses to the
unrest that is to come. Arya Stark finds herself in the heart of
enemy territory at Harrenhal, while her mother is trapped between
two brothers battling each other for their dead brother's throne.
In the heart of King's Landing, Tyrion is busy ferreting out
traitors as the Hand of the King, while Jon is beginning to
comprehend the lawlessness of life beyond the Wall. New friends
arrive in Winterfell for Bran, a forgotten son finds life in the
Iron Islands quite different than he remembered, and the Mother of
Dragons at last arrives in the fabled city of Qarth. But even as
these would-be kings draw their lines of battle, it is the people
of Westeros who will most suffer for their ambitions. For when
kings clash, it is the commoners who bear the greatest cost.

From Pulitzer Prize finalist and author of The Elephant in the Room
comes the first inside account of the Westminster Dog
Show--America's oldest and most beloved dog show--following one dog
on his quest to become a champion. Tommy Tomlinson was watching a
dog show on television a few years ago when he had a sudden
thought: Are those dogs happy? How about pet dogs--are they happy,
too? Those questions sparked a quest to venture inside the dog-show
world, in search of a deeper understanding of the bond between dogs
and humans that has endured for thousands of years. Dogland shares
his surprising, entertaining, and unforgettable adventures.
Tomlinson spends three years on the road and goes behind the scenes
at dozens of dog shows across the country, where he is licked,
sniffed, or rubbed up against by dogs of nearly every size, shape,
and breed. Like a real-life version of Best in Show, Dogland
follows one champion show dog--a Samoyed named Striker--and his
devoted entourage of breeders, handlers, and owners as he competes
in the Westminster Dog Show, the oldest and most famous dog show in
America. Tomlinson brings the dog-show circuit to life as he
witnesses teams scrambling from town to town in search of
championship points and colorful ribbons. Along the way, he also
speaks to scientists who have discovered new insights into how dogs
and people formed their bond--and how that bond has changed over
the centuries. Engaging, charming, and informative, Dogland is an
irresistibly appealing read for pop culture followers and animal
lovers alike.
