Ana de Armas stars in this fifth instalment of the action thriller franchise which serves as a spin-off set between the events of 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum' (2019) and 'John Wick: Chapter 4' (2023). After her father is murdered, Eve Macarro (de Armas) is schooled in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Alongside ballet, she trains in weaponry and martial arts but she remains haunted by the loss of her father.

When she has proven herself capable, she embarks on a quest to take down the people responsible for his murder. The cast also includes Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne and Keanu Reeves.

'300' (2006), adapted from Frank Miller's comic book series, is a modern retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC, when the 100,000 strong invading Persian Army of King Xerxes was held back in a narrow mountain pass by 300 Spartans. King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) is given four days by Persia's King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) to lay down his arms and surrender. Rejecting the proposal, the battle ensues, and the Spartans are only defeated by the treachery of local shepherd Ephialtes (Andrew Tiernan), who shows the Persians a secret route, enabling them to outflank their opponents. In the second film, '300: Rise of an Empire' (2014), based on Miller's graphic novel 'Xerxes' and set before, during and after '300', Athenian General Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) leads the Greek Army in a war against the invasion of King Xerxes I, naval commander Artemisia (Eva Green) and their Persian forces. Themistocles allies with the Spartans but they are still outnumbered by Xerxes' men. Who will be victorious? The film was co-written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad and also stars Lena Headey, Jack O'Connell and Hans Matheson.

Big-budget remake of the 1951 classic sci-fi film about an alien and a giant robot who visit Earth. Keanu Reeves stars as Klaatu, the inhabitant of a flying saucer that lands in Washington DC after orbiting Earth. Along with Gort, his indestructible robot companion, Klaatu sets out to discover all he can about this strange planet and its peculiar inhabitants. Along the way he meets Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) and her son Jacob (Jaden Smith), who become his only real friends and end up saving his life. Kathy Bates and John Cleese co-star.

Lo-tech crime fighter 'The Crimson Bolt' takes to the streets to clean up the city in this dark comedy from director James Gunn. Mild-mannered Frank D'Arbo (Rainn Wilson) decides to enter the world of crime fighting superheroes when his wife, Sarah (Liv Tyler), leaves him for local drug dealer Jacques (Kevin Bacon). Believing his wife will come back to him if he can only defeat Jacques and the rest of the city's lowlife, Frank morphs into The Crimson Bolt, complete with handmade costume and trusty pipe-wrench. But just when Frank's entirely human exploits seem to be running out of steam, the unforeseen arrival of comic shop assistant Libby (Ellen Page), in the guise of sidekick 'Boltie', helps save the day.
