This is the story of a cow, Bullock 374, and its journey from field
to fork and into fashion. In this personal investigation
into ethical and traceable leather, fashion designer Alice Robinson
begins a ground-breaking journey into the origin story of leather
and its connection to food and farming. As a fashion student, Alice
started to question the material she worked with. Leather is
universally acknowledged as a luxury material, from which desirable
bags, shoes and clothing are made. But how much do we know about
where it comes from? Alice’s questions led back to her childhood
home in rural Shropshire, where she decided to buy Bullock 374 and
follow its journey from a local farm to the abattoir, then to the
butchery and finally to the tannery. The journey culminates with
Alice’s own design practice as she creates a collection based on
this single hide. In doing so, Alice would begin to see the bigger
picture – and connect farm, food and fashion for the first time
to understand the true meaning of provenance, value and beauty.

"Mundane Heterosexualities" provides the reader with a critical
overview of feminist thinking on the topic of heterosexuality. It
argues that as a social rather than sexual category,
heterosexuality can be seen as the organizing principle of our
everyday lines. Presenting new data on the making of heterosexual
relationships within extended families, it raises profound
methodological questions about empirical research into an invisible
or unmarked category which have implications for work on the body,
emotions, everyday life and masculinity, amongst other issues.
Claiming Society for God focuses on common strategies employed
by religiously orthodox, fundamentalist movements around the world.
Rather than employing terrorism, as much of post-9/11 thinking
suggests, these movements use a patient, under-the-radar strategy
of infiltrating and subtly transforming civil society. Nancy J.
Davis and Robert V. Robinson tell the story of the Muslim
Brotherhood in Egypt, Shas in Israel, Comunione e Liberazione in
Italy, and the Salvation Army in the United States. They show how
these movements build massive grassroots networks of religiously
based social service agencies, hospitals, schools, and businesses
to bring their own brand of faith to popular and political
fronts.

Contributing to feminist approaches to masculinities, this book
examines men's contextual experiences of masculine identity.
Drawing on new data which compares men as they move across and
between public and domestic spaces, it explores the implications of
this for the nature of contemporary masculinity.
Mundane Heterosexualities is the first major empirical study of
heterosexual relationships. Critiquing feminist debates, and
examining heterosexual practices across the last century, this book
argues that as a social, rather than sexual category,
heterosexuality can be seen as the organizing principle of our
everyday lives.
Unlocking the Gates of the Watch is a tool that will aid in helping
believers understand what time they are at spiritually, and what
strategies the Lord would have them to walk in. In order for us to
be the overcomers He's looking for in this hour, we must take
courage. Jesus states in John 16:33, "These things I have spoken to
you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have
tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." Beloved,
this book will empower you to unlock hidden mysteries concerning
the many ways our enemy attempts to block and distort our destiny.
In the spiritual realm, battles are occurring day and night. As
long as there are evils to overcome and injustices to fight,
spiritual warfare will continue to be our reality. Don't wait any
longer for the clock is ticking
