Andrew and Carol Anne Smith are two siblings that have had a long, winding, up-and-down road over the years and though their sibling relations or rivalry has simmered down recently, their relationship takes a dramatic turn and takes on new meaning or dimensions when one of Andrew's friends from school has a cat who just gave birth to a whole litter of kittens and both Andrew and Carol Anne are able to convince their parents to allow them to adopt these kittens one day deep in the heart of the 2021-22 winter season and school year.
