In a new adaptation of Stephen King’s classic thriller, a girl with extraordinary pyrokinetic powers fights to protect her family and herself from sinister forces that seek to capture and control her. For more than a decade, parents Andy (Zac Efron) and Vicky (Sydney Lemmon) have been on the run, desperate to hide their daughter Charlie (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) from a shadowy federal agency that wants to harness her unprecedented gift for creating fire into a weapon of mass destruction. Andy has taught Charlie how to defuse her power, which is triggered by anger or pain. But as Charlie turns 11, the fire becomes harder and harder to control. After an incident reveals the family’s location, a mysterious operative is deployed to hunt down the family and seize Charlie once and for all.
Romantic drama adapted from Ben Sherwood's novel, starring Zac Efron as the young sailor, Charlie St. Cloud. Charlie has the opportunity to go to Standford University but when his younger brother, Sam (Charlie Tahan), dies in a car accident, he is left reconsidering his future. When he realises he can see and communicate with Sam, Charlie determines to take a job as a cemetery caretaker instead of going to university. The two brothers meet every night but the return of Tess (Amanda Crew), a sailor who went to school with Charlie, causes a divide between the brothers. When Charlie learns Tess's life is in danger, he has to choose between keeping a promise to his deceased brother in the afterlife and saving Tess in the real world.
Animated adventure with a strong environmental message, based on the children's book by Dr Seuss and featuring the voice talents of Zac Efron and Taylor Swift. 12-year-old Ted (voiced by Efron) has spent his childhood in Thneed-Ville, an entirely artificial city. When Audrey (Swift), the girl of his dreams, expresses her desire to see a real tree, Ted sets out to find it. Along the way he meets the reclusive Once-ler (Ed Helms), who tells the story of the Lorax (Danny DeVito), a grumpy yet charming creature, who fights to protect his world after a revolutionary industrial invention leads to the total destruction of the beautiful forests surrounding Ted's town.
Zac Efron stars in this romantic drama based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. US Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq clutching a photograph of a woman he has never met, which he has come to see as the good luck charm that has kept him alive. After some investigation he learns that the woman's name is Beth (Taylor Schilling), finds out where she lives and ends up getting a job at the kennels run by her family. Despite Beth's initial skepticism and various obstacles in her life, the two gradually become closer, leading Logan to hope that Beth could become far more to him than just a good luck charm.
Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron and Matthew McConaughey star in this steamy crime thriller set in rural Florida at the end of the 1960s. Charlotte Bless (Kidman), a garishly seductive femme fatale, enlists the help of returning Miami Times investigative reporter Ward Jansen (McConaughey) and his black colleague Yardley Acheman (David Oyelowo) as she tries to overturn the conviction of death row inmate Hillary Van Wetter (John Cusack), who is accused of murdering a local racist sheriff. But as a mutual resentment simmers between Yardley and Ward's adolescent younger brother, Jack (Efron), the investigation threatens to get derailed as the main protagonists find themselves swept up in a heady cocktail of heat, lust and violence.
