If we take the appearance of Black Flags from Khurasan in late 2008 when the resistance of Mujahedeen against the Coalition forces from the West took a new turn and they proved their strength. Thus, if this presumed date is close to being correct then Hazrat Mehdi's predicted appearance will be in year 2014 that is close by. Within years of appearance of Hazrat Mehdi the first battle of Armageddon will take place that will be followed by the more lethal and brutal war of Malhamatul-Kubra within nine months. Secular rule in Turkey would be finished and it would be annexed to the Muslim Caliphate of Mehdi . This will cause anger of "Dajjal The Anti-Christ" and he will appear. This event will approximately be five years after appearance of Mehdi and it comes out to be around year 2019. This will be followed by Appearance of Hazrat Essa PBUH (The Jesus). Thus their appearance seems to be in the year 2020-2021. From all it is concluded that the battles of Armageddon and Malhamatul-Kubra between Christians and Muslims would be fought somewhere between 2016-2019. We have endeavored to bring these facts before people of all the three religions so that they shall understand the will of Allah SWT. Jews believed that Armageddon will occur in 1998. That time has passed. Christians were anxiously awaiting this war in 2001 that has not occurred. From 2001 till date so much has happened that it has cleared many doubts. Christians must read this perspective as they shall know what Armageddon is. They consider that it is a religious Holy war. Unfortunately it has been misunderstood and rather misinterpreted. Jews must read this so as to know that their present stronghold Israel has been termed as Kingdom of sins and State of Hatred by Hazrat Daniyal (Daniel) who had been Prophet to Bani-Israel. They must know that the person who is being presented to them as their redeemer is the "Force of Evil" awaited towards the end of the time of the world. May be that the innocent and ignorant among them come to know that they are in the satanic claws. As writer is a Muslim while he is presenting in his endeavor impartial and balanced facts, thus it may seem to be a perspective from Islam. Pakistan needs a strong base of science and technology for exploitation of natural resources, boosting agricultural and industrial production and to solve problems of food, shelter, energy and health. Pakistan still has a window of opportunity to act decisively to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. According to UNAIDS estimates HIV prevalence is 0.1 percent among adult population in Pakistan. The officially reported cases are, however, much lower than the estimated cases. As in many countries, underreporting is due mainly to the social stigma attached to the infection, limited surveillance and voluntary counseling and testing systems, as well as the lack of knowledge among the general population and health practitioners. Until recently, Pakistan was classified as a low-prevalence country with many risk factors that could lead to the rapid development of an epidemic. The presence of significant risk factors such as the very low use of condoms among vulnerable populations including female sex workers (FSW), men who have sex with men (MSMs), truckers, and Hijras, low use of sterile syringes among injecting drug users (IDUs), inadequate blood transfusion screening and high level of professional donors, large numbers of migrants and refugees may lead to an epidemic situation of HIV/AIDS in Pakistan.

Common Cocklebur (Xanthium strumarium L.) is an emerging aggressive & invasive weed in crop fields in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province of Pakistan. Among the crops, maize has been severely affected by X. strumarium in the region. In order to evaluate the competitive ability of X. strumarium in maize, field experiments were conducted at Agricultural Research Farm, KP Agricultural University Peshawar, Pakistan during 2006 and 2007 using a Randomized Complete Block Design with split plot arrangement, replicated three times. The main plots comprised of four varying maize densities: 5, 7.5, 10, and 12.5 plants per square meter, whereas seven contrasting densities of X. strumarium viz., 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 plants per square meter were allotted to the subplots. During both the years, the grain yield of maize was highest in control plots (maize monoculture) at density of 7.5 plants per sq m. The density of X. strumarium at 8-12 plants per sq m reduced maize yield by 40 and 43% in 2006 and 2007, respectively indicating that X. strumarium is a strong competitor in maize. However, in both the experiments, the maize yield losses were rather comparable (24-26%) at all crop densities.

After September 11, 2001, Pakistan's president, Pervez Musharraf, vowed to fight extremism in his country and has since established himself as a key ally in America's "global war on terror."
