This Ceramic Palette has a nice weighty feel and can be used with watercolour, inks and dyes. Because it is made from porcelain, it is easy to clean, will not stain and will keep your paints wet for longer than a plastic palette; providing a longer period for wet mixing and allowing you to avoid having to colour match to dry hues. Ceramic palettes are very sturdy and designed for years of consistent use.

The 5 slanting wells allow for the storing of a reasonable amount of pigment while preventing your brush having to approach the pigment at a sharp angle. They also can be used for creating gradations of wetness and tone, while the 5 circular wells mean you can simultaneously store water or keep a consistent colour separated.

Using a simple eyelet system, Jackson's have created an apron that allows you to decide on the fit that's best for you. The two supportive straps do not pull at your neck and can be passed straight over your shoulders or crossed behind your back for extra security. With a choice of three different height settings artists of all shapes and sizes will find themselves comfortable and covered.

The apron is constructed from a heavyweight splash-proof canvas, and features three large pockets for convenience. A chest pocket works well for glasses, phones or music players.

The Zecchi handmade wooden arm palette is based on a model, discovered by artist Nicholas Beer. Beautifully handmade with Okoume wood, the palette is treated with several coats of shellac and linseed oil. Although larger than other standard kinds, the palette does not feel heavy as it has a different kind of thickness and is balanced with lead.
