Sean Connery returns as Secret Service agent James Bond in the second of the series, once again saving the world from the terrorist threats of the SPECTRE organisation. Wishing to control one of the world's natural resources, Greene's organisation has a finger in every government agency worldwide, and it falls to Bond to keep one step ahead of his friends, and enemies, to stop Greene holding the world to ransom.

When the activating button for a nuclear launch is lost at sea, it is up to James Bond to retrieve it before it falls into the wrong hands. Roger Moore once again plays 007 in this, the 12th Bond outing, director John Glen's first Bond film and the first without an Ian Fleming credit. Robert De Niro and John Travolta star in this action thriller from director Mark Steven Johnson. Emil Kovac (Travolta) is a former Scorpions soldier based in Serbia on the assignment of his career: find and capture Colonel Benjamin Ford (De Niro). Wanted for being a former NATO operative, Ford has now retired from war and lives a reclusive lifestyle in the Appalachian mountains. Determined to finish what his people started, Kovac poses as a friendly European tourist and tracks Ford to his secret hideaway. As Kovac gets all the evidence he needs, he pursues Ford in a brutal game of cat and mouse, intent on bringing him to justice.

New York City-set action thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon. When a Manhattan bicycle courier (Gordon-Leavitt) picks up an envelope from Columbia University, he has no idea that its contents are of crucial interest to a corrupt police officer (Shannon). Tension builds as the cop relentlessly pursues the cyclist through the streets of the city, desperate to get his hands on the crucial package.

A collection of Superman films old and new. In 'Superman - The Movie' (1978), a baby from the planet Krypton develops superhuman powers under Earth's yellow sun. As an adult (Christopher Reeve) he dons red cape and pants, and flies across the world doing good deeds, whilst also hiding behind the alias of mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent.

Fellow journalist Lois Lane (Margot Kidder) falls for the muscleman in tights without realising he and her bumbling colleague are one and the same. This special-effects laden adaptation of the DC Comics series also features Marlon Brando in a highly-paid cameo and Gene Hackman as evil mastermind criminal Lex Luthor. Director Richard Lester provides a slightly tongue-in-cheek sequel with 'Superman 2' (1980), in which our hero continues to outstrip speeding bullets and leap tall buildings in a single bound, this time while preventing three arch-enemies from space from achieving world domination.

In 'Superman 3' (1983), synthetic Kryptonite turns the normally upstanding Superman into a low-grade Supersleaze, clearing the path for a megalomaniac tycoon (Robert Vaughn) and a computer whiz (Richard Pryor) to take over the world. In 'Superman 4: The Quest for Peace' (1987), Superman, moved by a schoolboy's request, determines to rid the world of nuclear weapons. However, his arch enemy Lex Luthor, now a nuclear arms entrepreneur, clones Nuclear Man (Mark Pillow) from a strand of the hero's hair and the two mighty men battle it out in space.

Finally, 'Superman Returns' (2006) is a sequel set after the events of 'Superman 2'. After eliminating General Zod and the other Kryptonian arch-villains, Ursa and Non, Superman (Brandon Routh) leaves Earth to search for his former home planet, Krypton. When he arrives he finds nothing but remnants and returns to Earth.

Upon his return, he finds a Metropolis that doesn't need him anymore. Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth) is engaged to a relative of his boss (James Marsden), and to make matters worse, his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) has contrived a plot to build a continent using the crystals of Krypton that will wipe out most of North America. Superman must again race against time to stop the psychopathic Luthor before it's too late.

When he is the only survivor of a cop shooting, hard-nosed Jack Cates (Nick Nolte) springs prison inmate Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy) from jail for just forty-eight hours to help him catch the perpetrators. Cates knows that he can rely on Reggie's assistance, as the killers are now heading for the half million stash of dollars for which the jailbird went down in the first place. This was Murphy's big screen debut, and was followed in 1990 by the sequel 'Another 48 Hours'.

Fourth film in the series based on the popular computer game. Milla Jovovich reprises her role as Alice, who continues to fight against the Umbrella Corporation. Following new information, she heads to Los Angeles where she seeks out any survivors of the T-virus epidemic. Characters Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) and Claire Redfield (Ali Larter), who appeared previously in the series, are back to help defeat the Undead. The group of survivors attempt to strengthen their numbers and find refuge, but can they escape the city which is invested with zombies?

Western action based on the DC Comics series. Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) is a Civil War veteran and bounty hunter with the ability to converse with the dead. Jonah unintentionally kills the son of his Commanding Officer Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich)'s son when he saves a hospital and, seeking revenge, Turnbull murders Jonah's wife and son. Jonah later meets Lilah (Megan Fox) in a brothel and a mutual attraction forms. Soon after, he is ordered by Lieutenant Grass (Will Arnett) to hunt Turnbull, who is planning to bring devastation to the city, and Jonah accepts, eager to avenge the death of his family. In the process, Jonah uses his resurrecting powers to find out information about Turnbull's whereabouts and the chase is on.

Second instalment of the espionage thriller starring Matt Damon, based on the novel by Robert Ludlum. Having abandoned his life as a CIA assassin, Bourne (Damon) has left his violent past behind him and is living a normal life with girlfriend Marie (Franka Potente) under an assumed name.
