Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World by
William Walker Atkinson
In this New Thought classic, Atkinson looks at the law of
attraction in the thought world. He points out the similarities
between the law of gravitation and the mental law of attraction. He
explains that thought vibrations are as real as those manifesting
as light, heat, magnetism and electricity. The difference is in the
vibratory rate which also explains the fact that thought vibrations
cannot usually be perceived by our 5 senses.

Your Invisible Power by Genevieve Behrend
This is a really inspiring book. It gets you focused on your
dreams and goals with very simple to understand directions. I
encourage everyone to read and apply the information with a spirit
of enthusiasm and watch your life change
The book is a diary of a physician/father over 25 years of family
life and his practice of medicine. The author kept a journal and
although this journal reflects his mood and attitude at the time,
it is a description about experiences, occurrences and important
decisions. These transitions and tides are chronicled whether it be
family life, building a practice, or operating a health system. The
result is a journal that describes seemingly minor events that
directed the author and his family in certain directions and as a
result, this story. "Tides and Transitions" describes those people,
events, and the stories that helped develop, mature, and challenge
the family and medical practice. It is bits and pieces of the life
of a young then middle aged physician and father.
You've just been promoted and find yourself questioning your
ability to pull off the new job. Now what? Virtually every leader
recalls that "make or break" promotion when success depends on
accessing inner capacities that lie just beyond prior experience.
Taking on new challenges and responsibilities as a manager can be
one of the most exhilarating and rewarding transitions in a
businessperson's career. It can also be fraught with stress,
self-doubt, isolation, and frustration. Bob Gunn and Betsy
Gullickson draw on decades of executive coaching and human resource
consulting experience to characterize the process of management
promotion as walking the high wire-venturing into the unknown
without a safety net. More often than not, managers are tapped for
their functional knowledge and expertise; rarely are they trained
in the subtle art of managing and motivating people while
delivering bottom-line results. In this highly accessible guide,
Gunn and Gullickson address the challenges and opportunities
head-on and offer specific strategies and tactics for navigating
the transition into leadership, delegation, conflict management,
motivation, project management, and problem solving. At the heart
of the book is the notion that productive and fulfilling management
is not simply a collection of skills and techniques, but a mindset.
Illustrating this theme through many powerful first-hand examples,
the authors guide you toward achieving the clarity of vision and
purpose that comes from being aware of context, attuned to the
feelings that influence behavior, and respectful of multiple points
of view. Featuring thought-provoking questions and a listing of
helpful resources, On the High Wire willengage and inspire new
managers to become even more creative and effective leaders.
