Magic Colour Acrylic Inks can be used with brushes, pens or airbrushes. They can be used at full strength or thinned with water, and they dry waterproof.Each colour comes in a 28ml bottle which is difficult to knock over. This bottle has a pipette lid, and contains 28ml of paint in the colour Sepia Brown.

On some of these surfaces it is recommended a basecoat of the Polyurethane Primer (62.601) for best results. Premium colours are flexible and exceptionally durable and permit prolonged exposure to weather without fading or losing their brilliance. Premium colours have been formulated with micronized, permanent pigments and an extremely resistant, exterior grade hybrid resin-polyurethane base, which withstands impacts, resists chipping and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat and outdoor elements without cracking or fading, and is fuel residue proof up to a least 35% Nitro. AV Premium colours have superior flow, they are self-levelling and brush on with exceptional ease. For airbrushing, the colours can be used directly from the bottle when using a nozzle size 0,3. For the metallic colours some dilution might be necessary, and for smaller nozzles (O.2mm or less) the use of the Reducer (62.068) may be required. The recommended compressor setting is 30-60psi (2-4 bar). The range consists of 20 bright opaque colours, 23 dazzling metallics and fluorescents, and 9 shimmering transparent Candy Colours. All colours are as suitable for detail work as for covering large surfaces and can be applied by brush as well as by airbrush. The range is complete with 8 auxiliary products including the Transparent Basecoat and the Reducer, Primer, Varnishes and Drying Retarder. For an automotive refinishing and as an extra protective final coating, we recommend a catalyzed urethane clear varnish (spray can or airbrush).

All the colours are water resistant except Liquid Indian Ink Gold and Silver.They are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution. Pigment-based acrylic inks for highest degree of lightfastness.
Daler-Rowney FW Ink is an acrylic pigment-based, water-resistant ink with a high degree of lightfastness and intermixability. FW Acrylic Inks can be used straight out of the dropper, or diluted to achieve the most subtle of tones, very similar in character to watercolour. Such washes will dry to a water-resistant film on virtually all surfaces (please prepare your surface and test on a small area in advance) and successive layers of colour can be laid over.

Aero Colour Professional Candy colours are highly transparent and brilliant with the ability to provide a strong depth and range of colour. They mix beautifully and artists working with ink or watercolour, as well as illustrators, will appreciate the array of shades you can produce from just a few colours without any mudding of the mixes. They are ideal for bold, bright pieces and while their transparency means you can both use a pen on top of a wash once it’s dry or layer a wash on top of an earlier pen drawing, you can also build up layers to make the paint opaque. They use a binder and are water and pigment based.
