Inspired by the movie "Beetlejuice," this resource reveals what can be expected when one crosses over and arrives on the Soul Plane. In an irreverent and humorous style, Stubbs takes a lighthearted look at how a person should prepare for the afterlife.
This book is not quite like other books about the Titanic. As the title suggests, it is an attempt to explore the more transcendental aspects of the Titanic story - those suggesting a non-mechanistic universe. The subjects include premonitions, apparitions, out-of-body experiences, telepathic communication among the living, and after-death communication, many related to the Titanic passengers, others offered in support of the Titanic phenomena. Many of them have to do with other ocean tragedies. Chief among the Titanic passengers in this book is William T. Stead, a British journalist, who did not survive the disaster but apparently survived in another dimension, from which he communicated in the weeks following his death. . The Titanic story offers us the opportunity to examine death in a safe haven with the added bonus that, unlike most stories involving death, the parties actually have time to contemplate theirs death, some to escape, some to succumb. More than any other modern story, the Titanic might be viewed as a microcosm of life, a "community" isolated in the vast reaches of the ocean, one offering wealth and poverty, the opulence of first class and the ordinariness of steerage class, with a middle or second class in between. Every type of emotion, mindset, virtue and vice is represented - love and fear, hope and despair, bravery and cowardice, arrogance and humbleness, pomp and shame, selfishness and brotherhood. To accent it all, the iceberg impacted by the leviathan was reported as being a rare black berg looming high over the vessel, as if a giant evil predator. More than anything though, the Titanic story represents the struggle between man's inner and outer self, a struggle which many people are interested in but prefer to avoid except in books or movies.
Life, as we know it, will end. It's not a thought that tends to occupy us when we're young and in full health and vigor. We take risks, some foolhardy. We live as though we're immortal. And when we have our own children we are renewed, and life is good. But we can't look in the mirror every day without noticing subtle signs of change. We can't lose a loved one without reflecting on the passage of time and being nagged by the question, "What is it in life that I've yet to accomplish?" It's not a giant leap from asking that question about ourselves to wanting to know "What happens when I die?" Brian Stiller, author of WHEN LIFE HURTS, took on the task of answering this challenging question. Where is the proof that anything is going to happen? Why not just live life for the day, because that's all there is? WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DIE? is a journey toward understanding the nature of life after death, one that leads ultimately to the Scriptures and a promise given by God. It is a promise rooted in faith and joy. It is a promise that has everything to do with what we make of our life here on earth. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I DIE? is not just about death, but living a fulfilled, loving and caring life. The choice is ours to seek and receive God's gift-or not. But the way has been prepared as this insightful and thought-provoking book affirms.
Reincarnation is described as "giving a new body to the soul." And although this has not been a popular belief in the West, acceptance of this Eastern principle of life is becoming ever more common in the twenty-first century. In this book, Emma Belle Donath explores the influence of past lives in relationships and their meaning from a karmic perspective. By comparing two natal charts and the planets in conjunction between them, it is possible to identify the past relationship of two people, whether as partners, relatives, employer and employee, student and mentor, and many others. Beginning with the eight simple steps involved in the chart comparison, the author then devotes in-depth chapters to sign emphasis and planets and asteroids in conjunction between the two charts. A quick reference keyword guide for each planet and asteroid and the planetary aspects is also provided for ease in interpretation.

We can be certain that the body does not survive death. Once the heart stops circulating blood, the brain is no longer nourished and begins to decay. On the basis of medical evidence it would seem that, within a quarter of an hour, the personality is irreparably destroyed and the individual ceases to exist. But now there is mounting scientific evidence for a life after death. In At the Hour of Death, veteran psychical researchers Karlis Osis, Ph.D and Erlendur Haraldsson, Ph.D collated compelling evidence that suggests we, as conscious beings, do survive physical death. This book is the product of extensive interviews of over 1,000 doctors and nurses who have been present when cases of "post-mortem existence" have occurred. Extensive computer analyses of their observations have been made. The results are reported in this first truly scientific investigation of the experiences of the dying at the hour of death. What these doctors and nurses have witnessed cannot be explained away by medical, psychological, cultural, or other conditioning. Yet it may answer the fundamental question of human existence. "Finally, a book that probes death and dying with modern research techniques. Osis and Haraldsson present compelling evidence that the deathbed is the gateway to another existence. The visions of the dying appear to be not hallucinations but glimpses through the windows of eternity." -Alan Vaughan, editor of New Realities Magazine "A major contribution to the scientific study of the question of post-mortem existence. -Raymond A. Moody, M.D., author of Life After Life
The facts about people who leave their bodies and travel at will and how they do it.

Almost one in five near-death experiences are not peaceful suggestions of heaven. In a wide-ranging and far from gloomy look at the other near-death experience, Nancy Evans Bush gives the first comprehensive look at a fascinating but neglected topic: NDEs and deathbed visions of fear, emptiness, and even hell. A wonderfully readable book, grounded in thirty years of experience and research, Dancing is packed with first-person accounts, engrossing discussion and factual answers to a myriad of questions, both religious and secular, with practical suggestions for integrating such an experience or encountering one as a caregiver. Here are ways of thinking about the subject that will be new to many readers. What becomes evident is that to see these only as a terrible threat about death is largely to miss their point. absolutely enthralling literary, adventurous, incisive, informative and smart one of the strongest, most thought-provoking books on the paranormal I've ever seen. HAUNTED HOUSES HAVE BEEN REPORTED SINCE ANCIENT TIMES. ARE THEY REAL? Parapsychologist Andrew Nichols earned his world-wide reputation as a phantom sleuth routing banshees, breaking curses, exorcising ghosts, and exposing cranks and frauds. In Ghost Detective, he recounts his most chilling and fascinating cases of poltergeists, psychokinesis, and apparitions. These bizarre accounts -never before published- are presented with possible explanations for their occurrence, bringing into focus the latest discoveries in the scientific search for evidence of paranormal activity, and revealing dynamic links between haunting experiences and the human mind. Dr. Andrew Nichols is Director of the American Institute of Parapsychology.
Dr. Carl A. Wickland, (1861-1945) was a member of the Chicago Medical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the chief psychiatrist at the National Psychopathic Institute of Chicago. Wickland specialized in cases of schizophrenia, paranoia, depression, addiction, manic-depression, criminal behavior and other phobias. After moving to Los Angeles in 1918, he founded the National Psychological Institute of Los Angeles with his wife Anna Wickland, who was a trance medium. Wickland treated many patients suffering from mental illness of all kinds, and after many years experience came to the conclusion that a number of patients he treated had 'attachments;' by that he meant that spiritual entities had attached themselves to unwitting mortals and influenced them (often) in the worst kind of way-leading them to alcoholism, madness, and occasionally murder. Wickland stated at the time; Spirit obsession is a fact - a perversion of a natural law - and is amply demonstrable. This has been proven hundreds of times by causing the supposed insanity or aberration to be temporarily transferred from the victim to a psychic sensitive who is trained for the purpose, and by this method ascertain the cause of the psychosis to be an ignorant or mischievous spirit, whose identity may frequently be verified. Having come to the 'spirit obsession' conclusion, Wickland and his wife set up a rescue circle, with Mrs. Wickland acting as the medium, and they set about communicating with lost souls who had passed away and were unaware of their post physical death condition and often in denial due to dogmatic religious and equally dogmatic atheist beliefs. In the introduction of the book the author writes, The change called death, the word is a misnomer-universally regarded with gloomy fear, occurs so naturally and simply that the greater number, after passing out of the physical are not aware that the transition has been made, and having no knowledge of a spiritual life they are totally unconscious of having passed into another state of being. Deprived of their physical sense organs, they are shut out from the physical light, and lacking, a mental perception of the high purpose of existence, these individuals are spiritually blind and find themselves in a twilight condition-the outer darkness mentioned in the Bible - and linger in the realm known as the Earth sphere. The book documents a number of cases of both anonymous and well-known communicators such as Helena Blavatsky; cofounder of the Theosophy movement, and Mary Baker-Eddy, the founder of Christian Science. A number of subjects are discussed including crime, suicide, materialism, selfishness, and narcotics.

During his 50 years of psychical research, Sir William Fletcher Barrett (February 10, 1884 - May 26, 1925) observed many types of phenomena. In his reminiscences, read at a private meeting of the Society for Psychical Research (SPR) on June 17, 1924, less than a year before his death, Barrett said: "I am personally convinced that the evidence we have published decidedly demonstrates (1) the existence of a spiritual world, (2) survival after death, and (3) of occasional communication from those who have passed over...It is however hardly possible to convey to others who have not had a similar experience an adequate idea of the strength and cumulative force of the evidence that has compelled [my] belief." Barrett was the prime-mover in the founding of the SPR in 1882, serving as vice-president and editor of the Society's Journal during its first year and president in 1904. He also encouraged Professor William James of Harvard to organize the American branch of the SPR in 1884. In this book, Deathbed Visions, first published in 1926, the year after his death, Barrett reported on a number of intriguing cases in which a dying person appears to see and recognize some deceased relative or friend, some of them involving instances where the dying person was unaware of the previous death of the spirit form he saw. "These cases form, perhaps, one of the most cogent arguments for survival after death, as the evidential value and veridical (truth telling) character of these visions of the dying is greatly enhanced when the fact is undeniably established that the dying person was wholly ignorant of the decease of the person he or she so vividly sees," Barrett stated in the book, now something of a classic in the field.
MEMORIES AND POEMS FROM THE OTHER SIDE
What happens after we die? Author and award winning filmmaker Richard Martini explores startling new evidence for life after death, via the "life between lives," where we reportedly return to find our loved ones, soul mates and spiritual teachers. Based on the evidence of thousands of people who claim that under deep hypnosis, they saw and experienced the same basic things about the Afterlife, the book interviews hypnotherapists around the world trained in the method pioneered by Dr. Michael Newton, as well as examining actual between life sessions. The author agrees to go on the same journey himself, with startling and candid results, learning we are fully conscious between our various incarnations, and return to connect with loved ones and spiritual soul mates, and together choose how and when and with whom we'll reincarnate. The author examines how "Karmic law" is trumped by "Free will," with souls choosing difficult lives in order to learn from their spiritually; no matter how difficult, strange or complex a life choice appears to be, it was made in advance, consciously, with the help of loved ones, soul mates and wise elders. Extensively researched, breathtaking in scope, "Flipside" takes the reader into new territory, boldly going where no author has gone before to tie up the various disciplines of past life regression. near death experiences, and between life exploration. In the words of author Gary Schwartz, Phd, once you've read "Flipside" "you'll never see the world in the same way again."

Charmaine Addresses something that comes to us all, and to all our loved ones, and which we are very ill equipped to handle; death, the end of life, or the passing from one state, which we know, to another, which we cannot know. A near death expereince, and the existence and reality of these expereinces is well attested and undoubted, is a great and impressive glimpse behind the veil, and into another, truer reality than that of every day. Charmaine has the ability to communicate, and her writing is clear and lucid. She deals sensitively and perceptively with what can be a difficult subject. Behind her veil, is a brighter, vibrant, living truth. From her journey she has brought back much of value, a golden treasure, and she shares this . Many of us would dearly wish to pierce, however little, the veil that hides us from other worlds, and to see what else is there. This book is one that helps us understand a little more the strange ways of creation.

"Forget your 3D cinema and TV, and your virtual cyber-worlds - these are but pale electronic imitations of what you can access through your own mind. This book shows you how to dream lucidly, which means waking up inside dreams while still physiologically asleep. Lucid dreaming is a genuine altered state of consciousness, not merely vivid dreaming, in which you can find yourself in other realities that seem as real as waking consciousness. There is no limit to the creations you can explore, because the biological wonder that is your brain is the most complex thing we know of. You can have fun, meet departed friends and relatives as if they were still alive, rehearse actions you have to undertake in the normal world of daily reality, experience mystical and paranormal mind states, and much more. A third of our life is spent asleep, and in an average lifetime we experience about half a million dreams. Yet for most of us that part of our existence is like a closed book. We might remember an occasional vivid dream, but usually our dreams are just vague, fragmented shadows that evaporate in our minds as soon as we open our eyes. This book explains the history and nature of dreams and lucid dreams, and then presents a uniquely comprehensive range of techniques, tools and aids for attaining lucid dreaming. So leave your 3D glasses behind and train yourself to plunge into the inner virtual worlds that lie beyond your dreams."
Diana Hewson's husband, Ed, passed away suddenly of a heart attack in May of 2003. They were extremely close and had somewhat isolated themselves from friends since they mainly enjoyed just being together. They had no children and no close relatives. Diana was alone except for some good friends. Initially, she had a hard time comprehending what had happened, but she knew that it was up to her to proceed with life. Diana and Ed had been married for thirty-four years. They were not religious and they did not believe in life after death. When Ed did die, several close friends suggested that Ed would be communicating since they were so close. Diana was appreciative of their words and thoughts but did not believe them. Then unexplainable things began to happen. And about four months after his passing, Ed managed to make Diana realize they were right. Ed was still there and communicating. This is Diana's amazing story of how she learned that when someone close dies, it is not an end to the relationship. The relationship merely changes form. She now knows there is life after death. Diana wrote this book to help others work through the grief from losing a loved one by understanding there is life after death and we are all truly immortal.
"Doubts and misgivings about life after death can be set aside with the gift of this special book." (Dr. Austin Ritterspach, Religious Studies, Indiana University) In How I Died (and what I did next), an office worker dies in the North Tower on 9/11. A little girl is drowned in the 2004 Indonesian tsunami. A Canadian man is run over by a bus. A Vietnamese diplomat is tortured and shot. A Chinese woman dies having a back-street abortion, a drunken Brazilian playboy drives his car over a cliff. Twenty-five such stories are told by souls from all over the globe. Their tales are translated by world famous clear channel, Toni Winninger. Not everything is grim. An old French woman dies peacefully in her bed, a Greek innkeeper has a heart attack while asleep. The souls tell us first what happened at the moment of death and then what took place afterwards, when they found themselves still alive, aware, and free from their body. They danced through fields of flowers, met long lost relatives; two little Italian girls were too frightened to believe they had died and spent time as ghosts; a serial killer suffered the torment of a self-induced hell. Some have found work to do at Home, others have started to plan their next life on planet Earth. We have a slice of the many different things that happened to them, and find ourselves asking the question, "Is this what will happen to me?" Editor Peter Watson Jenkins wisely let this incredible look at the reality of death speak for itself. It is a life-changing book, grim in parts yet amazingly uplifting. Readers have been enthralled: "This is one of the most wonderful spiritual books I've ever had the privilege of reading." (Ian Lawton, author of Rational Spirituality) "The book will definitely help many people heal their fear of dying and the loss of their loved ones." (Toh Lee Sin, Director, Love & Light Festival, Singapore)
