Hans Christophe von Bock's documentary follows the attempts to
stage an edited, one day version of Wagner's epic opera cycle at
the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. Arriving in Buenos Aires to
prepare the groundwork for the production, Wagner's
great-granddaughter, Katharina Wagner, who now runs the Bayreuth
Festival, discovers that the rehearsal conditions are not what she
expected. At short notice, she decides to entrust the staging of
the production to Valentina Carrasco, who has previously worked
with the Catalan theatrical group 'La Fura dels Baus'.
