This three-volume set (CCIS 1376-1378) constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing, CVIP 2020, held in Prayagraj, India, in December 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was partially held online. The 134 papers papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 352 submissions. This book constitutes revised selected papers of the 9th International Conference on Analysis of Images, Social Networks and Texts, AIST 2020, held in Moscow, Russia, in october 2020. This book constitutes three challenges that were held in conjunction with the 23rd International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer-Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2020, in Lima, Peru, in October 2020*: the Anatomical Brain Barriers to Cancer Spread: Segmentation from CT and MR Images Challenge, the Learn2Reg Challenge, and the Thyroid Nodule Segmentation and Classification in Ultrasound Images Challenge.The 19 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected form numerous submissions. The ABCs challenge aims to identify the best methods of segmenting brain structures that serve as barriers to the spread of brain cancers and structures to be spared from irradiation, for use in computer assisted target definition for glioma and radiotherapy plan optimization. The papers of the L2R challenge cover a wide spectrum of conventional and learning-based registration methods and often describe novel contributions. The main goal of the TN-SCUI challenge is to find automatic algorithms to accurately segment and classify the thyroid nodules in ultrasound images. *The challenges took place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This book constitutes selected papers from the First International Symposium on Geometry and Vision, ISGV 2021, held in Auckland, New Zealand, in January 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held in partially virtual format. The 29 papers were thoroughly reviewed and selected from 50 submissions. They cover topics in areas of digital geometry, graphics, image and video technologies, computer vision, and multimedia technologies.
This book includes extended versions of the selected papers from VISIGRAPP 2009, the International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications, which was held in Lisbon, Portugal, during February 5-8, 2009 and organized by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC). VISIGRAPP comprises three component conferences, namely, the International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications (VISAPP), the International Conference on Computer Graphics Theory and Applications (GRAPP), and the International Conference on Imaging Theory and Applications (IMAGAPP). VISIGRAPP received a total of 422 paper submissions from more than 50 co- tries. From these, and after a rigorous double-blind evaluation method, 72 papers were published as full papers. These figures show that this conference is now an - tablished venue for researchers in the broad fields of computer vision, computer graphics and image analysis. From the full papers, 25 were selected for inclusion in this book. The selection process was based on the scores assigned by the Program Committee reviewers as well as the Session Chairs. After selection, the papers were further revised and extended by the authors. Our gratitude goes to all contributors and referees, without whom this book would not have been possible.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 14th International Symposium on Perception, Representations, Image, Sound, Music, CMMR 2019, held in Marseille, France, in October 2019. The 46 full papers presented were selected from 105 submissions. The papers are grouped in 9 sections. The first three sections are related to music information retrieval, computational musicology and composition tools, followed by a section on notations and instruments distributed on mobile devices. The fifth section concerns auditory perception and cognition, while the three following sections are related to sound design and sonic and musical interactions. The last section contains contributions that relate to Jean-Claude Risset's research.
