Annie grew up in a big, supportive family. She grew up happy and
confident with a strong faith in God. The darker side of the world
was never shown to her as a child, and as she grew into a bright
young woman, the darker side continued to remain hidden from her
view. When she earned a job at a nursing home, Annie felt lucky.
What a blessing to have a job that allowed her to help others on a
day to day basis
But soon, things went wrong at her new job. Suicides became
rampant among Annie s coworkers - women who had previously seemed
joyful and at peace. What could possibly cause such emotionally
stable women to take their own lives? When Annie meets her boss,
Benson, she begins to suspect he s behind it especially when she is
sexually harassed by this man who was supposed to be a guiding
force at The Lake View Hospital.
Annie soon learns of the darkness in the world. She learns that
bullying is not confined to playgrounds and schools; bullying
happens to adults, too, especially in the guise of sexual
harassment. Annie will not let Benson ruin her faith in the
goodness of people. With God s help, Annie will recover the lost
souls ruined by suicide. She will show them the light and save
herself in the process.

For countless generations people of every culture have practiced a
broad range of dramatic and sometimes frightening techniques to
peer into the future. In this fascinating book acclaimed author
Clifford Pickover presents a nearly exhaustive list of
fortune-telling techniques, from the ominous practice of human
sacrifice to reading clues on the Internet.
Pickover not only explores a vast and colorful array of methods of
prediction--including dreaming--he also evaluates the accuracy of
some of the most astonishing prophecies made throughout history.
Just how accurate were such famous soothsayers as Nostradamus, the
Delphic Oracle, Edgar Cayce, the children of Fatima (whose third
vision has only recently been revealed), and dozens more?
This book takes us one step further by exploring our own inner
psyches: Why does looking into the future provide a source of
solace in a world filled with uncertainty, disease, and chance? And
why do the most noted prognosticators so often warn of natural
catastrophes of biblical proportions, such as earthquakes and
floods that will signal the end of the world?
Through insight and wit, Pickover will unlock the door of your
imagination with engrossing mysteries, intriguing illustrations,
and even modern patents and computer techniques. Also included is a
range of practical experiments and recipes--from Stone Age to New
Age.

In the dreams of Bret Harvey, a huge orange fireball has destroyed
much of the landscape. It is a desert now, lifeless and filled with
broken houses. Food is scarce. To see a human is rare. The Dark
Ones, with their childlike voices and fingers like long knives, are
constantly pursuing Harvey. Welcome to Serotonia, the very
unpleasant world where Harvey's dreams take place. It's a world
created by the use of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
(SSRIs) to help Harvey cope with his depression, anxiety, and
post-traumatic stress disorder. The side effects of the drug cast a
spell on his subconscious, creating a sequence of chilling dreams,
which he retells in "Serotonia." The dreams expose some of the most
raw and haunting parts of his psyche. In succession, the dreams
tell the story of what is wrong in his life and how Harvey must
face it. He returns to Serotonia each night, trying to discover
what the Dark Ones really want. Serotonia leads him through a
rabbit hole of terror while he tries to find the sense of peace
that we all search for and learns how to cope with the darker side
of himself.
Understanding Your Dreams is a Christian educative book, which
tries to explain the subject dream as a spiritual entity in a human
being. It brings into light the various misconceptions people have
about dreams based on the backgrounds they speak from. This book
also outlines the importance of dreams to mankind. The book defines
dream in the writer's perspective based on the Bible and insight
based on experience, revelation, and divine inspiration. It also
categorizes dreams into three, depending on the way they happen and
the characters involved. It further provides both scriptural and
practical examples of the various types of dreams for easy and
complete understanding. Again, this book looks at the various steps
involved in dream interpretation, and finally, it has a list of
some common symbols in our modern dreams and their probable
meaning.
A UNIQUE DICTIONARY BASED ON OVER 15 YEARS OF RESEARCH People often
say they haven't yet found a good dictionary to interpret their
dreams, signs and symbols. The Source Code - 500 brings a whole new
vision to the subject and will surely become one of the most
important reference books in this field' published simultaneously
in English and French. It's written by Kaya, one of today's most
eminent specialists in dream interpretation, assisted by over 75 of
his students, who are doctors, psychologists, nurses, therapists,
linguists, teachers and specialists in many fields, in many
different countries. The idea of uniting so many people for this
extraordinary project came from the workshops Kaya has been giving
on dream and symbol interpretation for over 12 years. The
Dictionary helps us discover, in great depth, the 500 most common
words in dreams and signs. Each word is analyzed in detail with its
physical and metaphysical characteristics, and a synthesis defining
the + and - of each symbol is included. This provides the reader
with an analytical, understandable vision of the various different
possible interpretations. Just one word may occupy 2 or 3
explanatory pages, which makes this Dictionary very complete from
all points of view. Readers will also find a detailed introduction
explaining dream mechanics as well as the multiple angles and
subtleties of dream and sign interpretation. In KAYA's new
Dictionary, he unlocks the secrets to decoding the true meaning of
our dreams. He reveals to us the Source Code: it is our dreams that
show us the hidden dimension of what we are in the process of
living, what is in our subconscious and/or what is being activated
within us. In order to understand our dreams, Kaya believes that we
must remember that all the elements and symbols we receive
represent states of consciousness that are part of our being, and
as spiritual beings, everything our spirit does is via symbols.
According to Kaya, generally people who write dictionaries of dream
symbolism only use a psychological approach. His book comprises a
spiritual approach for those who want to pursue a deeper
understanding of their dreams and how dreams can support their
spiritual evolution.
