In the dreams of Bret Harvey, a huge orange fireball has destroyed
much of the landscape. It is a desert now, lifeless and filled with
broken houses. Food is scarce. To see a human is rare. The Dark
Ones, with their childlike voices and fingers like long knives, are
constantly pursuing Harvey. Welcome to Serotonia, the very
unpleasant world where Harvey's dreams take place. It's a world
created by the use of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors
(SSRIs) to help Harvey cope with his depression, anxiety, and
post-traumatic stress disorder. The side effects of the drug cast a
spell on his subconscious, creating a sequence of chilling dreams,
which he retells in "Serotonia." The dreams expose some of the most
raw and haunting parts of his psyche. In succession, the dreams
tell the story of what is wrong in his life and how Harvey must
face it. He returns to Serotonia each night, trying to discover
what the Dark Ones really want. Serotonia leads him through a
rabbit hole of terror while he tries to find the sense of peace
that we all search for and learns how to cope with the darker side
of himself.
Understanding Your Dreams is a Christian educative book, which
tries to explain the subject dream as a spiritual entity in a human
being. It brings into light the various misconceptions people have
about dreams based on the backgrounds they speak from. This book
also outlines the importance of dreams to mankind. The book defines
dream in the writer's perspective based on the Bible and insight
based on experience, revelation, and divine inspiration. It also
categorizes dreams into three, depending on the way they happen and
the characters involved. It further provides both scriptural and
practical examples of the various types of dreams for easy and
complete understanding. Again, this book looks at the various steps
involved in dream interpretation, and finally, it has a list of
some common symbols in our modern dreams and their probable
meaning.
A stimulating study of dream interpretation and man's mind.
Translated by A.A. Brill With an Introduction by Stephen Wilson.
Sigmund Freud's audacious masterpiece, The Interpretation of
Dreams, has never ceased to stimulate controversy since its
publication in 1900. Freud is acknowledged as the founder of
psychoanalysis, the key to unlocking the human mind, a task which
has become essential to man's survival in the twentieth century, as
science and technology have rushed ahead of our ability to cope
with their consequences. Freud saw that man is at war with himself
and often unable to tolerate too much reality. He propounded the
theory that dreams are the contraband representations of the beast
within man, smuggled into awareness during sleep. In Freudian
interpretation, the analysis of dreams is the key to unlocking the
secrets of the unconscious mind.
When you tap into the power of your dreams, you discover a
bottomless well of healing energy and spiritual insight that can
improve every aspect of life. With hands-on instructions for
remembering and interpreting dreams as well as tips for channeling
their power, this book is an enlightening guide through the
mysterious landscape of the subtle realms. Based on years of

issues that are most relevant to you. With proven methods for

dream researcher Joe H. Slate helps you explore your dreams for
increased self-esteem and accelerated personal growth.
As we move through life, we are constantly being addressed through
both our normal and paranormal senses. Kabbalah teaches us that we
can always benefit from these signals by adopting a dual strategy:
the innocent path of simplicity together with the focused approach
of rational analysis.
"For some years now, I have been aware that I have the ability
to tap into other worlds and experience various paranormal
events... Should I try to work to eliminate these experiences from
my life, and if so, how?"
"I have a question regarding the removal of a curse on land and
turning it into a blessing. Can you tell me any procedures or do's
and don'ts concerning this? Any information will be
appreciated."
"I have had several very significant dreams that have so
disturbed me... No one I know really seems to have any insight into
what these dreams may mean. I would greatly appreciate any wisdom
you might pass on to me."
In this selection of letters concerning dreams and paranormal
experiences, you will find detailed answers to these questions and
others. Studying the replies in this volume will present you with a
new, fuller and clearer attitude towards perceiving and
interpreting the spiritual phenomena that you may experience.
