Book 2 in the series of Arthurian legends - retold at an
easy-to-read level for younger readers! Morgan's happy childhood
ends when King Uther declares war on her father. Sent from her
beloved home of Tintagel, she spends the next eight years in a
nunnery. There Morgan's dark powers grow alongside her hatred,
restrained only by the teachings of the secretive Iona. Until a
surprising letter arrives, and with it the chance for revenge.
About The Legends of King Arthur series: Epic battles, thrilling
quests and forbidden love combine in the medieval story of the boy
who would be king. A retelling of the Arthurian legends, adapted
and illustrated to introduce children aged 7+ to classic folklore.
Great to share aloud, just like the original tales.
Magnolia Bloomgarden is not excited about spending her summer
vacation in Tooth Kingdom working as a fairy for the family
business. She couldn't care less about getting wings, learning to
fly, or sprinkling magic dust, especially because she has to leave
her best friend, Sun, behind. But all of that is about to change
when she realizes Sun's family is being pursued by dark fairies who
need just one thing to survive: teeth.
Magnolia is worried about what will happen to Sun and her family
if she does not warn them that the evil fairies are loose in the
mortal world. But before she can caution them that the fairies have
potentially found a way to open their portal, Magnolia is led to
the Tooth Kingdom by her uncle. There she soon discovers a perfect,
happy world overshadowed by the threat of dark fairies who want
nothing more than to destroy the peaceful kingdom. As the fairies
make their presence known, Magnolia embarks on a dangerous journey
to save both her kingdom and Sun's family from their sinister
clutches.
In this children's fantasy tale, a tooth fairy-in-training must
summon the courage to battle dark forces as a portal slowly opens
and frees what everyone in Tooth Kingdom has always feared.

Three fantastic, fun-filled, dynamic and dramatic stories, to
follow on from the story of Jason and the Argonauts and Ali Baba,
published in February. These are tales that every aspiring
boy-adventurer will want to read, from Robin outwitting the evil
sheriff and William Tell's astounding shot that pierced an apple at
one hundred yards, to Aladdin's discovery of his very own magic
lamp complete with genie. Illustrated throughout with Tony Ross's
energetic, bold and brilliant line drawings.
This book contains several Japanese tales collected and translated
into English by N. Kato. It is beautifully illustrated with several
vibrant coloured plates and many black and white line drawings by
H. G. Theaker. Many of the earliest children's books, particularly
those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce
and increasingly expensive. Pook Press are working to republish
these classic works in affordable, high quality, colour editions,
using the original text and artwork so these works can delight
another generation of children.
In a blink of an eye, four best friends all get their biggest wish—they’re whisked off to Never Land, home to Tinker Bell and her fairy friends.
A great gift for readers ages 6-10, this attractive box contains four Never Girls adventures:
- Wedding Wings
- The Woods Beyond
- A Pinch of Magic
