Family adventure based on the novel by Roald Dahl. The film centres around an eccentric chocolatier, Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp), and Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), a good-hearted boy from a poor family who lives in the shadow of Wonka's extraordinary factory. Most nights in the Bucket home, dinner is a watered-down bowl of cabbage soup, which young Charlie gladly shares with his mother (Helena Bonham Carter) and father (Noah Taylor) and both pairs of grandparents.
They all live in a tiny, tumbledown, drafty old house but it is filled with love. Every night, the last thing Charlie sees from his window is the great factory, and he drifts off to sleep dreaming about what might be inside. For nearly fifteen years, no one has seen a single worker going in or coming out of the factory, or caught a glimpse of Willy Wonka himself, yet, mysteriously, great quantities of chocolate are still being made and shipped to shops all over the world.
One day Willy Wonka makes a momentous announcement. He will open his famous factory and reveal 'all of its secrets and magic' to five lucky children who find golden tickets hidden inside five randomly selected Wonka chocolate bars. When Charlie finds some money on the snowy street and takes it to the nearest store for a Wonka Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight he finds a golden ticket.
The family decides that Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) should be the one to accompany Charlie on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Once inside, Charlie is dazzled by one amazing sight after another.

Another classic Hammer film, shot in Israel and based on H. Rider
Haggard's fantasy novel. While on an expedition, Major Horace Holly
(Peter Cushing) and his team discover the secret kingdom of Ayesha
(Ursula Andress) - she who must be obeyed. Condemned to eternal
life, Ayesha wishes Holly's colleague to join her in her eternal
existence; believing him to be the reincarnation of her former
lover, an Egyptian high priest whom she murdered two thousand years
ago.
Director Richard Lester (A Hard Day's Night) took over the
franchise with this first sequel in the series, though the film
doesn't look much like his usual stylish work. (Superman III is far
more Lesteresque.) Still, there is a lot to like about this movie,
which finds Superman grappling with the conflict between his
responsibilities as Earth's savior and his own needs of the heart.
Choosing the latter, he gives up his powers to be with Lois Lane
(Margot Kidder), but the timing is awful: three renegades from his
home planet, Krypton, are smashing up the White House, aided by the
mocking Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman). The film isn't nearly as
ambitious as its predecessor, but the accent on relationships over
special effects (not that there aren't plenty of them) is very
satisfying. --Tom Keogh
There are growing dangers in the wizarding world of 1926 New York. Something mysterious is leaving a path of destruction in the streets, threatening to expose the wizarding community to the No-Majs (American for Muggles), including the Second Salemers, a fanatical faction bent on eradicating them and the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, after wreaking havoc in Europe, has slipped away…and is now nowhere to be found.
Unaware of the rising tensions, Newt Scamander arrives in the city nearing the end of a global excursion to research and rescue magical creatures, some of which are safeguarded in the magical hidden dimensions of his deceptively nondescript leather case. But potential disaster strikes when unsuspecting No-Maj Jacob Kowalski inadvertently lets some of Newt’s beasts loose in a city already on edge—a serious breach of the Statute of Secrecy that former Auror Tina Goldstein jumps on, seeing her chance to regain her post as an investigator. However, things take an ominous turn when Percival Graves, the enigmatic Director of Magical Security at MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), casts his suspicions on both Newt…and Tina.
Now allied, Newt and Tina, together with Tina’s sister, Queenie, and their new No-Maj friend, Jacob, form a band of unlikely heroes, who must recover Newt’s missing beasts before they come to harm. But the stakes are higher than these four outsiders—now branded fugitives—ever imagined, as their mission puts them on a collision course with dark forces that could push the wizarding and No-Maj worlds to the brink of war.
Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.
Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
After a cabal of murderous cyborgs dominates Earth, a band of
humans tries to stop them.
A video profile of screen legend Bruce Lee, the martial arts hero
who popularized his craft the world over, but died tragically
early, at the age of 35. Included are interviews with Lee's son,
Brandon, brother, Robert, and colleagues such as Jackie Chan and
James Coburn.
