Multi-platinum musician Jack Johnson's eighth studio album, 'Meet The Moonlight', is his first album in five years.

The creation process marks a major artistic milestone from past work, taking shape from a one-on-one collaboration with Mills (whose contributions included everything from fretless guitar to Moog synth to steel drums) and unveiled an intimate and highly experimental process that involved embedding Johnson's elegantly stripped-back arrangements with enchanting sonic details.

Shadow Kingdom presents Dylan performing revelatory 21st century versions of songs from his storied back catalogue – including fan favourites like "Forever Young" and "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue," and deep catalogue gems like "Queen Jane Approximately" and "The Wicked Messenger."

Originally reinterpreted for an exclusive streaming film event, which aired in July 2021, Shadow Kingdom is now available on CD for the first time.

When Animal Noise self-released their debut album Run Loose in 2012, they quickly went from playing in their rehearsal studio, an old cowshed on bass player Birdy's farm, to the stages of Bestival & T in The Park. Through extensive support from BBC Suffolk Introducing, Animal Noise caught the attention of BBC Radio 1, receiving airplay from Greg James, Huw Stephens, Sara Cox and Scott Mills. BBC 6 Music's Tom Robinson was also a big fan, recording a session with the band for his show. This widespread national radio support and subsequent festival appearances have meant Animal Noise have built a large following across their home county of East Anglia, and now they're looking to reach further afield. Working with producer Tom Donovan, the band have been crafting songs to follow up 2012's Run Loose . The band describe the track as having a bouncing staggered riff that flips from aggression to reflection. The song runs with a recurring theme of water and helplessness, relating to plaguing negative thoughts and anxieties about taking risks, a fear of jumping into the deep end of something new and different which scares a lot of people..." The EP includes the tracks 'Bag of Bones' and 'Alright', which have already gained momentum through extensive BBC introducing support. A compelling blend of strong melody and intricate structure, Animal Noise are as innovative as they are exciting. The bands attention to detail extends to the cover artwork which depicts a boat staying afloat in stormy seas, a metaphor for the music industry perhaps? The band found a photograph at a local art fair and knew immediately it would form the basis for the cover for their EP. We're in the midst of an occult revival, in large part because people are searching for meaning. As the esoteric scholar Erik Davis wrote, "We turn to psychedelics, the occult, meditation, not just as another form of ideology, but because they reflect something true about the situation we're in." Magic is something that can live in chaos and make use of chaos, and these are chaotic times. Jess Williamson's Sorceress, her fourth album and second with Mexican Summer, arrives during this cultural moment. Fittingly, it addresses these issues via personal epiphany and offers revelation in the real sense of the word. Across eleven country western prayers and pop incantations, Williamson melds the magical with the day-to-day, and makes it feel universal. On the title track, a gorgeous fireside ballad that finds her accompanied by the chirps of cicadas, she sings "Yes, there's a little magic in my hat / But I'm no sorceress." The thing is, she certainly sounds like one. Sorceress is polished and assured and it hits immediately. The Texas singer and songwriter makes deeply felt songs that orbit around her powerful voice, a voice that's strong and vulnerable, big-room flawless, quietly ecstatic, and next-to-you intimate. When she has something to say, even when it's a kind of Dolly Parton whisper, you listen. Offering a deep-hued kaleidoscope of dusty '70s cinema, '90s country music, and breezy West Coast psychedelia, Sorceress weaves a woman's wild love letters to a confusing present and uncertain future. It's a record about loss of innocence and acquired wisdom that's self-critical, self-assured, and soul-searching. On the lead single, "Wind on Tin," for instance, the narrator travels to a remote desert town to attend the memorial service for a friend who passed away. She thinks she hears the voice of God, and she's either tuned in, crazy, or both. Nothing is ever entirely clear, as evidenced on album centrepiece, "Infinite Scroll," which is more than a song about a broken heart and disappearing memories.
