""Unbridled Freedom" is an unvarnished look at a woman at the crossroads. Whether she's following in the footsteps of her Irish ancestors or living life to the fullest in a clothing optional resort, McNally is an ideal traveling companion: funny, fearless, and utterly honest. Unbridled Freedom will leave you longing to embark on a journey of your own." - Jim Ruland, author of "Big Lonesome" Everyone believed Barbara was living the American Dream. She married her college sweetheart, sustained him on his rise to success, and seemed to have the perfect marriage, the perfect family, the perfect home. But when she strayed and her matrimonial cookie crumbled, Barbara realized that to be more than a just a wife . . . she'd have to get a life. Following the lead of her adventurous late grandmother, she set off to overcome her fears and find her independence. While exploring Ireland, the land of her ancestors, she danced with horsemen, communed with priestesses, and had an erotic encounter in an ancient castle. Somewhere along the way, she discovered parts of herself that had been missing from her life. Something she'd longed for without knowing it. She tasted freedom and wanted more. Seeking to discover her inner self, she set off on another kind of adventure-a visit to a hedonistic resort in Jamaica. After an unexpected turn of events took her through the locked gates of a run-down orphanage filled with troubled adolescent girls who were transitioning into women, she realized that she had long ago created her own prison and that she alone held the key. By turns sensual and soulful, helpful and humorous, Barbara's remarkable story takes you on a journey of introspection and exploration leads to unbridled freedom. There is no greater joy than the adventure of discovering who you really are and then living that life. This memoir tells the story of Barbara's impulsive liberation, how she got her wings and learned to fly-her pursuit of being original, open to the joy of expressing herself as a multidimensional woman. "Mother. Lover. Fighter. Sage."

The goal of this Nepali grammar is to provide a reference to the fundamental Nepali parts of speech, its word types, and its rules of word formation from the Nepali perspective. The book begins with a brief description of the Devanagari script and of common pronunciation rules. Then a brief history of the Nepali language is presented. The subsequent chapter on word types and origins is followed by a chapter on the parts of speech. The remainder of the text concerns Nepali word formation and its paradigms. Taken all together, the foundation in Nepali grammar is intended to be useful in conjunction with other learning materials, or literary works, in Nepali itself.
This richly illustrated guide to the historical buildings of the Bodleian Library not only makes an attractive keepsake but is also packed with fascinating architectural details about one of the oldest libraries in Britain that has been in continuous use since the Middle Ages. Following a short introduction which tells the story of the founding of the Library by Sir Thomas Bodley in 1602, this book offers a succinct guide to the architectural styles, exquisite stone masonry and subsequent renovations of the renowned buildings of the Bodleian, situated in the heart of the University of Oxford. It also describes the involvement of famous architects such as Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor in designs and embellishments for these buildings. As well as giving the individual histories of Duke Humfrey’s Library, the Divinity School, Convocation House, the Schools Quadrangle, the Radcliffe Camera and the Clarendon Building, author Geoffrey Tyack also provides a guide to the intriguing statuary and carvings which adorn the buildings, and gives translations of the many Latin inscriptions which mark key moments in the library’s history. The 400-year narrative is brought up to date with a description of the development of the Weston Library, a state-of-the-art renovation of the New Bodleian Library, designed to house the Bodleian’s special collections in the twenty-first century.
