These readings were officially approved by The Roman Catholic Church in 1981 and confirmed by Decree of the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship in the Vatican. It carries the Imprimatur of the English Bishops' Conference. This is the Second Editio Typica. The book includes the two prescribed readings at Sunday Mass as well as the Gospel of the day.
