In Apple Black, Volume 3, young sorcerer and prophesied savior Sano
continues his quest by attempting to uncover and protect the
secrets behind his father's research on the immense power known as
Apple Black. Many years ago, humans acquired "Black" fruits from a
tree that descended from the skies, turning humans into sorcerers.
Although all of Black is now extinct, humans still have sorcery
inherited from their ancestors. Blessed with the Arodihs arm by
Merlin, the god of sorcery, Sano is raised and trained in isolation
and secrecy to be the world's savior, known as the Trinity. The
savior is the one who dawns the Infinite Night, an eternal night of
chaos. With his newfound freedom from isolation, Sano gets a fiery
start after being admitted to Black Bottom Island's guild for young
sorcerers. As his fellow gifted allies and sorcerers like Opal
Wantmore accompany Sano on his quest, the treachery, betrayal, and
evil that have plagued nearly all of Eden again threaten the world.
Sano fears his power can either save the world or destroy it. With
his visions offering him a darker path, Sano seeks to find those
responsible for his loss, and walk away from revenge and toward
forgiveness to find closure. Ridding Eden of the Infinite Night
will require him to uncover the secrets behind his father's
research on fully rejuvenating the effects of Black in bloodlines
with the immense power known as Apple Black. Black Bottom Island
has become a war zone as Banburi rebels and cloaks of the country
battle each other. The Lords of the country plan to counterattack,
taking charge in the absence of the Dark Lords. Sano finds himself
in trouble, but his allies join the fight. Symon fears their luck

Putting a Witcher twist on family life, this delightful collection of
comics features Geralt of Rivia as your average monster-slaying dad,
trying to raise young Ciri to be a good kid while teaching her all
about life as a witcher—a perfect gift for parents and The Witcher fans
of all ages.
Young Ciri's extensive training at Kaer Morhen, the witchers'
stronghold, includes everything she needs to learn to survive the many
threats in her world . . . as well as all the antics and fun of a
little girl bonding with her adoptive dad and family.
With help from Geralt and Ciri's closest companions—including the
motherly magic of Yennefer of Vengerberg and the wisdom of uncle
Vesemir—these adorable tales of a non-traditional family will make you
laugh, make you sigh, and make you realize that raising a Little
Witcher is not that different from raising any other kid. Sure, bedtime
stories might include warnings of monsters who fart when surprised, and
Geralt might invoke the Witcher Code to get Ciri to brush her teeth or
clean her room, but even the formidable White Wolf knows to surrender
when it comes to bedtime battles or Afternoon Tea with the toys.
The Little Witcher is perfect for:
- The Witcher fans raising little Ciris of their own
- Readers who believe in the power of chosen families
- Baby showers (don’t forget Dad!)
- Father’s Day or Mother’s Day gifts
- Players looking for a light-hearted twist on their favourite game
- Families who like cute, magical comics
- The Witcher fans looking to spend more time in Kaer Morhen
Aya’s found out that the guy she was interested in isn’t a guy at
all―and she’s also realized that she just can’t keep her cool around
Mitsuki! The two haven’t quite put a name on their complex, earnest
feelings, but they only grow as the pair continues to bond over the
music they love. With their senior year at hand, future plans are
coming into question…and Aya’s thrown for a loop when a mysterious
woman shows up and wants Mitsuki to go overseas!
In this novel series originally released in Chinese--and which inspired
a number of multimedia adaptations--two disaffected young men stuck in
a run-down city discover that everything changes once they find each
other.
Seventeen-year-old Jiang Cheng is cast aside by his adoptive parents
and sent to a desolate northern town to live with his
gambling-obsessed, deadbeat father. Arriving with just a suitcase, a
pack of cigarettes, and a looming sense of dread over his uncertain
future, he steps off the train and into a bleak, rundown place far from
everything he knows. There, he meets Gu Miao, a quiet, troubled girl,
and her brother Gu Fei, a boy his age with musical notes shaved into
his hair. Disenchanted with life, Jiang Cheng and Gu Fei are reluctant
to connect, but fate--and Gu Miao--have other plans.
In this frigid snow-covered town, hope seems frozen in time, yet the
unexpected bond between Jiang Cheng and Gu Fei might prove to be the
warmth they both desperately need.
The awaited second volume of the manhua starring the beloved duo, Yu
Yang and Li Huan, has arrived! While they tackle major challenges
together, they frequently clash with one another. After a disastrous
attempt at visiting the campus pool, a misunderstanding creates
tension. Will Yu Yang's fiery temper and Li Huan's obliviousness be
able to repair their bond?
One of the most famous writers of all time, George Orwell's life
played a huge part in his understanding of the world. A constant
critic of power and authority, the roots of Animal Farm and
Nineteen Eighty-Four began to grow in his formative years as a
pupil at a strict private school in Eastbourne. His essay Such,
Such Were The Joys recounts the ugly realities of the regime to
which pupils were subjected in the name of class prejudice,
hierarchy and imperial destiny. This graphic novel vividly brings
his experiences at school to life. As Orwell earned his place
through scholarship rather than wealth, he was picked on by both
staff and richer students. The violence of his teachers and the
shame he experienced on a daily basis leap from the pages,
conjuring up how this harsh world looked through a child's innocent
eyes while juxtaposing the mature Orwell's ruminations on what such
schooling says about society. Today, as the private school and
class system endure, this is a vivid reminder that the world Orwell
sought to change is still with us.
Welcome to the liminal zone, where things beyond your wildest imagination await.
What fate awaits when death is not the end?
A group of four university students stumbles upon a deserted, decaying village deep in the mountains only to find an enormous perpetual motion machine still at work there. Before they can answer the questions of who made it and to what end, the friends begin to disappear, one after the other. Another story sees the return of the strange Hikizuri siblings! A girl weighed down since birth by an invisible burden meets the odd siblings and moves in with them in order to understand the truth about herself. But after a string of bizarre occurrences, the siblings’ uncle appears on the scene…
