This series of Swiss graphite pencils are available in a variety of colours and densities, from a fine grey (4H) to a soft, deep black (9B).
The Technalo Pencil features a water-soluble graphite lead which is great for blending and creating subtle shifts in tone and shading. The pencil is made from premium FSC certified cedar wood and has a 3mm diameter. Available in 3 hardnesses.
When used dry, the colour is only a subtle hint, mixed in with the natural dark tone of graphite. When wet, the watercolour pigment is intensified to bring rich tones of colour to your work. Technalo pencils can be used as they are, or applied with brushes when wet.
Cretacolor Leads are smudge-proof, shiny oil pencils with a 5mm diameter which are available in a wide range of colours. The colour of this lead is White Chalk Medium.

It’s a pencil-shaped stick of pure, artist quality water-soluble graphite which can be used just like a conventional pencil or broken into chunks to create broad sweeps of tone or subtle graphite washes. Available in four versatile wash strengths, Graphitone is easy to use as its protective wrap simply peels away to expose as much or as little graphite as you need. And because the entire stick is 100% useable material, it’s very economical too.
The pencils feature dark graphite with high density, providing distinctive contrast for artists. The pencils are coated in a fine black varnish with gold-blocked writing and a distinctive white stripe over the paint-dipped end. The barrel is hexagonal and the very end is cylindrical. Available in 17 degrees of hardness: 9H - 6H (extreme hard): for special techniques like Litho work, 5H - 3H (very hard): for technical detail drawing, 2H-H (hard): for geometric and technical drawing, HB - H (medium): writing and linear drawing, B - 3B (soft): free-hand-drawing and writing, 4B - 6B (very soft): used mainly in arts for light, expressive drawing. |
