Joan Belzer is a Certified Graphologist who has been in practice
for over twenty years. She holds a Masters in Library Science from
UCLA and is a member of the American Association of Handwriting
Analysts. She lectures to educators, employers and at conventions.
She is in private practice and the Handwriting Analyst at the
Canyon Ranch. At the behest many private clients and attendees at
my lectures, I decided to write a book that explains some of the
basic principles of graphology. After my lectures, people usually
want more details and examples. Also, they would like to share what
they learned with friends and family. I believe that this book
answers those requests appropriately. The title of the book, "The
Five Minute Therapist," refers to the graphotherapy exercises that
are recommended in the book. All of these exercises are intended to
be completed in 5-10 minutes a day. Keep in mind that these short
exercises require a commitment of 21 consecutive days in order to
be successful.

graphology demonstrates, using more than 250 samples, how one's
handwriting can be used to identify both physical and mental
strengths and weaknesses.Working on the premise that handwriting is
actually 'brain writing' (in that the hand simply holds the pen,
whereas the brain motivates it), the author demonstrates how the
structure of the writing can give vital clues to the personality
behind it.Graphology can be used in a variety of ways. Employers
often call upon handwriting analysis for the purpose of personnel
selection and evaluation. The technique can also be used as an aid
to career guidance. As well as analysing and interpreting samples of
handwriting, the author has provided a selection of spontaneous
drawings. She explains in great detail how these too can provide
deep insights into the adults and children who produced them.Monica
O'Hara-Keeton's findings make fascinating reading for all those
interested in the study of handwriting to identify the nature of a
person's physical and mental well-being.
"My name is Mitchell." Thus begins, Your Immortal Body of Light, a
fascinating and true story that takes Mitchell E. Gibson, M.D. out
of his ordinary consciousness and into the inner realms of his
being. Dr. Gibson was Chief Resident in Psychiatry at a large inner
city medical center when he began his journey, expanding his
consciousness using meditation. On his quest, he actually
encounters an ancient 'god of healing' known as Djehuti (pronounced
Dee-jan-tee), or Thoth. Being a psychiatrist, Gibson more than
wavered before accepting that he was indeed speaking with an actual
entity but the experience persisted and eventually Djehuti revealed
profound information to Gibson, about the formation of the soul and
the causes of mental illness. Your Immortal Body of Light is a
credible and highly readable adventure into the land of magic and
miracles invoked by meditation. Not since the release of
Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century by John Jay Harper has
there been such a heartfelt sharing of what it means to be
contacted by a "deceased" colleague and how to apply those insights
to understanding the physics and metaphysics of creation. In this
book the author travels beyond the illusive veil of "reality" to
bridge the gap between cultures and centuries. Dr. Gibson reveals
how Words of Power invoke transformation in body-mind-spirit as
scholar Jeremy Naydler declared in Temple of the Cosmos: The
Ancient Egyptian Experience of the Sacred. "It is no coincidence
that Thoth, the Lord of Speech, who in the Beginning uttered the
primordial sounds that thickened into tangible substances and thus
brought the world into existence, was also the originator of
writing." That is, your world will never be the same once you put
these writings into practice to create a life that is a dream come
true too. Both fascinating and chilling this is not your everyday
spiritual awakening story. Lee Levinson, Emmy Winning Television
Producer "Your Immortal Body of Light" is alternatively a sensitive
and compelling portrait of one man's spiritual and emotional
journey into the unknown. The author's recounting of his personal
experiences are reflected in outstanding visual sequences and
dramatic character interaction that make this true story resonate
with an air of authenticity that will impact audiences everywhere.

"A genuine new departure and a spirited contribution to the psychology of personality." Jerome S. Bruner
This original theory of personality is based on the concept that there are many workable ways by which individuals can contruct their world. George Kelly's starting point and basic premise is that people's processes are psychologically channeled by the ways they anticipate events rather than by the ways they react to them. We develop new means of overcoming obstacles; we are, therefore, neither prisoners of our environment nor victims of our past. In Dr. Kelly's groundbreaking theory, the patterns of our make-up, which he calls contructs, are the key to changing old pattersn. Each person anticipates events differently, and Dr. Kelly shows how we can begin to understand each person's unique constructs. In this way, a person is enabled to create alternative constructionsfinding a sense of meaning in life, regaining control over his or her environment, and establishing new roads to mental health. This volume consists of the first three chapters of Kelly's two-volume work The Psychology of Personal Contructs.
