BLOOD & DIRT offers a career retrospective of the defunct San Francisco thrash metal band Vio-Lence. Directed by TALES FROM THE PIT filmmaker Jerry Allen, the documentary traces Vio-Lence's history through behind-the-scenes home-video footage; live concert clips culled from performances at Slim's and the Thrash of the Titans festival; and interviews with band members, fans, rock journalists, and thrash cohorts Exodus, Testament, Forbidden, and Death Angel.

Poland's Gothic heavy metal heavyweights release the first title in their discography with this live show in their native Krakow. The set list features music from the band's last two records, BECKETTIA and MOZARTIA, each of which pays homage to a great artist, and boasts the group's signature rough sound balanced by beautiful female vocals. Intense and varied, the band delivers an energetic show, accompanied by a 70-minute documentary about the band, as well as the video clip "Born to be the Best."

Down on the Upside is the fifth studio album by the American alternative rock band Soundgarden, released on May 21, 1996 through A&M Records. Following a worldwide tour in support of its previous album, Superunknown (1994), Soundgarden commenced work on a new album. The music on the album was notably less heavy than the group's preceding albums and featured the band experimenting with other sounds.

Rootsis the sixth studio album by Brazilian metal band Sepultura. It was released in Europe on February 20,1996 and in the U.S. three weeks later on March 12 by Roadrunner Records. It is the band's last studio album to feature founding member and vocalist/rhythm guitarist Max Cavalera. This 25th Anniversary Edition features 5LPs in a deluxe box that include the original album, demos/bonus tracks, an exclusive poster and a previously unissued live show recorded in Phoenix in 1996.
