Sennelier inks, which are likened to Indian inks, are available in a selection of high quality colours. Extremely rich, these inks are manufactured with shellac gum giving (to each shade) unique brilliance, brightness and vibration under light.

They can be applied with a brush or ink pen and give a satin to brilliant film depending on thickness. They dry rapidly and display a high degree of water resistance, without being indelible. These inks are highly sought after for calligraphy, quill drawings, washes, for textile creations and materials research. They can be protected with a pencil fixative in order to increase their light stability.

Kuretake White ink is highly opaque and perfect for making corrections or producing distinctive highlights. You can dilute this ink with water to change the consistency and opacity. To get a stronger solid line you may want to apply several layers of this ink after each layer has dried. Depending on the dip pen you’re using you will need to change the consistency of the ink. It is completely smudge proof and waterproof when dry but can take up to two days for it to dry fully. Please note: this ink is thixotropic and will liquify if you stir it thoroughly, do not be alarmed if it seems very thick initially. Aero Colour Professional are highly light-resistant, brilliant air-brush colours from the Schmincke company developed specially for the air-brush spray-gun but also very good to use with retouching pens, dip-pens and brushes.Aero Colour Professional is distinguished by its ideal qualities. Schmincke's finest air-brush colours have a pleasant odour, are easy to use, resistant and can be used on almost all fat-free surfaces. All colours are ready-to-use and can also be used undiluted due to their very fine pigmentation. If required, they can be diluted with Aero Medium (Art.-No.50 602) or water. Jackson’s Alcohol Inks are fast-drying, alcohol-based inks. They are highly saturated and produce vibrant effects on a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces. Popular surfaces include Yupo paper, Jackson's gesso panels, as well as glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, resin, clay, and more.

You can also use Jackson’s Alcohol Inks for calligraphy work, faux finishing techniques, graphic and airbrush applications, as well as wood and leather staining.

Jackson’s Alcohol Inks are smudge-resistant and water-resistant when dry. As they are dye-based, artwork should be protected from sources of light to protect against fading. Once the colour dries it can be reworked with Jackson’s Blending Solution. This helps produce unique effects that can't be achieved with water-based mediums.

To protect works made with alcohol inks, we recommend several coats of a UV protectant, such as Krylon Kamar Varnish. Allow at least 24 hours or more for best results.

When cleaning brushes used with Jackson’s Alcohol Inks, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or a blending solution. Clean brushes before they have the chance to dry out.
