It gives me great pleasure to be able to present these teachings through my good friend and colleague Martelo - a wonderful, extraordinary medium. I know how difficult it has been while writing this book, having disturbance with his vision, so I am therefore sympathetic for him in the way he has kept to his bargain in letting me bring the knowledge of the afterlife to be installed in print. I hope he may be able to finish this documentary without having any disabling moments. The Hierarchy on a higher plane is sending healing rays to him at this moment. I know Martelo, being an initiate of the fifth degree, will come through. We have been close together for a long time and know each other very well indeed. I would like to finish this on a better note if possible. Don't give up because you think nothing is happening, you may get a surprise out of the blue which will prepare you for the next step ahead, and see what we all can learn in the process. Once again, I am delighted to be able to be asked to come to the Earth plane for a short period. Always remember you are never alone, even in the silence in which we dwell. Waiting for the right time and the right person to communicate with us is why we do not rush in when we see someone aspiring; we wait and have patience until the time is right.
Mother Shipton, alias Ursula Sonthiel is generally supposed to have been the second greatest English seeress, after the legendary Merlin, but it is certain that her prophecies were added to in the 19th century by a Mr Charles Hindley. The problem of authenticity grew more puzzling with the publication of even more 'Shipton' prophecies by 'Nexus' magazine. The author is convinced that despite these additions, at least 50 years and probably as much as 170 years worth are still missing. This work was written long before the Nexus prophecies were published and not only fills the gap, but goes far beyond it, as the reader will discover. We await the criticism, attacks and cries of outrage that will surely be our lot, with amused anticipation.

In Celtic Spirituality, acclaimed translator and scholar Philip Freeman allows the voices of the Celts to speak once more. Though the Celtic civilization has long disappeared, lingering traces of their spirituality haunt Ireland and the surrounding land. Tantalizing snippets of faded manuscript pages, ancient stone carvings, and spells from the mystery-shrouded Druids have sparked the imagination of generations of modern seekers. Translated from their original languages--Gaulish, Latin, Irish, and Welsh--the passages and stories in Celtic Spirituality are true artifacts of the Celts' vibrant and varied religion from both the pre-Christian and early Christian period. From a ritual of magical inspiration to stories of the ancient gods and adventures of long-forgotten heroes, Freeman has unearthed a stunning collection of Celtic work. The translation is accessible to the modern reader, but maintains the beauty and vibrancy of the original. Celtic Spirituality includes material that has never been translated before, offering a new glimpse into the wisdom and wild magic of the Celts.
