If time is money, now you can save both with fresh patterns
designed specifically for precut fabric collections. With the
fabric prep out of the way, you'll turn your stashed precuts into
16 eye-catching quilts and smaller projects you can sew in a
weekend. From wallhangings to throws, pillows, table toppers,
placemats, and quilts for every bed in your home, these projects
are so fast they practically make themselves!
This full-color book features 82 quilts along with scores of
Quilted Greeting Cards that Betty Kaiser (BettyQuilts) designed and
created from 1994 to 2006. On these Picture Book pages you will
find one-of-a-kind designs of Crazy Patch, Crazy Cats, Landscapes,
Water Colors, Paper Piecing, Interlocks, Wreaths, Runners, Table
Toppers plus many more. Betty passed on in 2012 and left these for
all. I hope you enjoy the beauty of her creations as much as I
always do. More at www.DarrelKaiserBooks.com
Bargello Quilts Photo Gallery is a collection of photographs of
quilt wall hangings, many of which are original designs by Joyce
Zborower. They are presented here in hopes they will stimulate the
reader to create original designs of their own. In addition to
bargello designs, there are other types of quilt designs along with
vests and other sewing projects.
Two girls. Same name. One mission. Teach the world to sew. Liz and
Elizabeth Evans two former teachers who married brothers challenged
themselves to make 30 projects in 30 days and blog about it. The
resulting Simple Simon sewing community is where thousands go to
get their creative fix. In The Simple Simon Guide to Patchwork
Quilting, they invite the world to share in their joy of quilting
and sewing. Their first book features eight different traditional
quilt blocks beginning with the easiest (the 9 patch) and then
moves into more intermediate blocks like Log Cabins and Dresden
Plates. Each chapter shows how to sew the block, shares a bit of
block history, and then provides three achievable projects using
that block (at least one quilt in each chapter). More than just a
how-to book, The Simple Simon Guide to Patchwork Quilting captures
its authors' infectious charm, delightfully reminding us what a
heart-warming hobby sewing can be.
