Encounter the Glories of Heaven, the Terrors of Hell, and The Stunning Reality of the Unseen World! When Jim Woodford died, he spent 11 hours in Heaven. When he came back, he was changed forever. A successful airline pilot and businessman, Jim had it all—a loving family, substantial wealth, and all of the good things that come with it. But none of this was enough to satisfy the emptiness he felt in his heart. He always hungered for something more. And then he died. Jim was never a religious man. When it came to matters of God and faith, he was ambivalent. But as he lay in the hospital bed, clinically dead for more than 11 hours, his consciousness was transported to the wonders of Heaven and the horrors of hell. When he returned to this world, he brought back the missing peace his soul had been longing for. Join Jim Woodford on this unforgettable journey into the afterlife! • Awaken to the vivid sights, sounds, and sensations that you can enjoy in Heaven forever. • Be inspired by detailed descriptions of the “contrails of prayer” in Heaven’s skies, the “sticky love” of God, what it feels like to hug an angel, and more! • Encounter the chilling realities of hell, and the sharp claws of destruction that threatened to pull Jim into eternal darkness. • Take comfort in the “six simple words” that led Jim into the presence of Christ. Whether you need hope for tomorrow or strength for today, this story is your invitation to a radical transformation!

God Wants to Talk to You!
As you walk and talk with God, you’ll find yourself living the abundant life of blessing that you were meant to live!
Frank D. Macchia argues that the Son of God baptized (and continues to baptize) humanity in the Spirit by pouring forth the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. All four Gospels and the book of Acts describe how the Son is sent of the Father and empowered by the Spirit to fulfil this mission; Macchia in turn claims that Christ succeeds by incorporating others into himself and into the love of the Father. The Spirit-Baptized Church proposes a richly pneumatological ecclesiology that is dominated by a Pentecostal confessional concern, while also open to a larger ecumenical conversation. The volume focuses not only on the dogmatic (Trinitarian) foundations and election processes of the Spirit-baptized church, but also on its marks and witnessing practices. As an exceptionally detailed study of the Spirit-baptismal metaphor, this volume is a valuable resource for scholars of ecclesiology, Pentecostalism, and systematic theology.
Become a Resting Place For God's Presence and Power!
False beliefs about money so often rob us of our best opportunity to serve God, to love people, and to steward the wealth He gives us. Our cultural programming has embedded deep within us wrong ideas about wealth, money, and morality. These wrong ideas, and not greed or avarice, are the biggest source of poverty in the world. In Permission to Prosper, Ray Edwards offers three startling premises. First, God has promised you prosperity. Second, God has a purpose behind this prosperity (and it is not necessarily that you give all your money away). And third, the practice of prosperity is a spiritual activity. Not only do you have permission to prosper, but you also have a mandate to multiply. Permission to Prosper gives you the confidence and the keys to do just that.
By acting on the biblical truths contained in this popular book, believers can turn around seemingly impossible situations just by walking in the God-kind of love!

For a generation, the Catholic Church in Brazil has enjoyed
international renown as one of the most progressive social forces
in Latin America. The Church's creation of Christian Base
Communities (CEBs), groups of Catholics who learn to read the Bible
as a call for social justice, has been widely hailed. Still, in
recent years it has become increasingly clear that the CEBs are
lagging far behind the explosive growth of Brazil's two other major
national religious movements--Pentacostalism and Afro-Brazilian
"Umbanda."
Pentecostalism is one of the most significant modern movements in global Christianity today. A mixture of ecstatic expression and earnest piety, metaphysical nuance and embodied spirituality, it is far more than the stereotype of a supernatural sideshow. In this presumably secular era, Pentecostalism continues to grow, adapting to a diverse religious marketplace and becoming more racially and ethnically diverse. Originally an American phenomenon, it is now a globe-spanning religion. In this book, Arlene M. Sanchez Walsh provides a thematic overview of Pentecostalism in America, covering Pentecostal faith and practices, gender and sexuality, race and ethnicity, trends and offshoots, and the future of American Pentecostalism. She also considers Pentecostalism's spiritual lineages, examining colorful leaders, ordinary adherents, and prominent outliers, as well as its deep roots in American popular culture. She examines Pentecostalism as a narrative performance, aiming to explain what Pentecostalism is through the experiences and stories of its adherents. Sanchez Walsh treats this Christian movement with the critical eye it has often lacked, and places it in context within the larger narrative of American religious history. An indispensable introduction to Pentecostalism, rich with insights for experienced readers, Pentecostals in America is an essential study of a vibrant religious movement.

Every television reporter knows when the red light is on, you are on. Red means go. Playing off this insider phrase, Elictia Hart-now a wife, mother, and pastorpassionately shares how God transformed the red flags in her life into victorious banners for personal growth, a deeper faith, and a richer sense of her purpose for his kingdom.
During a ten day period in November of 1999, Wendy Alec received a visitation from the Lord Jesus Christ. He spoke of mercy, He warned of judgment...on the world's trading systems, on ministry leaders...upon the church. He wept In two separate visitations in 2002, He spoke iin anguish of the last days assignments against the elect, He warned of the great blinding, of seduction, lust and Jezebel, and the great falling away... 'My children perish...' Jesus' voice was so soft...that it was barely audible... And then He turned to me, His beautiful countenance ravaged with grief. 'Now warn My children...warn My beloved...that even those in the deepest mire might find their way home...' This is the extraordinary record of His discourse.
How are spiritual power and self-transformation cultivated in street ministries? In Addicted to Christ, Helena Hansen provides an in-depth analysis of Pentecostal ministries in Puerto Rico that were founded and run by self-identified "ex-addicts," ministries that are also widespread in poor Black and Latino neighborhoods in the U.S. mainland. Richly ethnographic, the book harmoniously melds Hansen's dual expertise in cultural anthropology and psychiatry. Through the stories of ministry converts, she examines key elements of Pentecostalism: mysticism, ascetic practice, and the idea of other-worldliness. She then reconstructs the ministries' strategies of spiritual victory over addiction: transformation techniques to build spiritual strength and authority through pain and discipline; cultivation of alternative masculinities based on male converts' reclamation of domestic space; and radical rupture from a post-industrial "culture of disposability." By contrasting the ministries' logic of addiction with that of biomedicine, Hansen rethinks roads to recovery, discovering unexpected convergences with biomedicine while revealing the allure of street corner ministries.
