reis.

Inspired by the people, sights and sounds, Leonie can't wait to discover it all.
Her mother tells her to stay close, but there's SO much to see.
And surely nothing can scare a brave lion girl, can it?

Mr and Mrs Bunny have always wanted a little baby bunny. When they
finally have a special one called Miffy all of their friends cannot
wait to meet her. Award-winning UK poet, Tony Mitton, has worked
closely with Dick Bruna's Dutch publisher to create new
translations for the classic Miffy stories that are true to the
books' original voice, and yet have a contemporary feel to the
language that makes them appealing to the modern young audience.
The translations beautifully convey the warmth and friendliness of
the original Dutch whilst maintaining a style that is inimitably
Miffy.

Shu Lin is starting at a new school. She stands alone in the
playground and at lunchtime she eats by herself from little boxes
of brightly coloured food. "What's up with her?" says Barney. But
when Shu Lin's grandpa comes to school and shows the class his
amazing Chinese paintings, everything changes.... With a stunning
double-gatefold spread revealing a beautiful Chinese picture, this
uplifting story shows the transformative power of art and
imagination in developing cultural understanding and empathy.
This heroic tale was inspired by a true story that took place over
500 years ago. It tells of Katje the windmill cat who lives happily
with Nico, the miller, in a Dutch village by the sea. But when Nico
brings home his new bride, everything changes. Katje is shooed away
by Lena as she sweeps the house or when she finds Katje playing
with the new baby. Eventually poor Katje leaves her home and moves
into the windmill. But when a storm breaks the dike that holds back
the sea, Katje performs a feat of extraordinary courage that makes
her forever welcome in the house.
A little girl searches for that special something to make her home
complete. When she visits the animal shelter she finds the answer.
Can Pablo the rescue cat rescue her?
