""If it didn't have a beautiful ending, my story would be too painful to tell."" Addicted to alcohol by ten years old, a young girl's life was in shambles. As an adult, she sought relief from personal pain, used street drugs, gambled, and sought love and acceptance through homosexual relationships. Due to abuse from others and her own poor choices, she also suffered from serious health issues. After seeking professional counseling, help from rehab centers, and the use of pharmaceutical drugs, she still felt hopeless. Longing for change and feeling powerless to achieve it, Teri sought God's help as a last resort. She experienced many miraculous changes in her life. Because of God's power, she "turned over a new leaf." Teri Leef is a survivor of childhood abuse, forced addictions, and poor personal choices that were influenced by traumatic childhood experiences. Teri tells her personal story and encourages others to make their way out of brokenness, hurt, and pain. She regularly shares her story of hope and faith. Teri loves reaching out to others through missionary work, both regional and international.
The bible is full of mysterious ideas and metaphysical concepts that are complex enough to turn our ways upside down . Though, some schools of thoughts put their heads on the block to defend the accuracy of the holy book; but influenced, at the same time by the spiritual presence of God and the traditional effigy of idolatry, that accuracy is flooded by a stream of doctrines, dogma, norms and traditions . So the author of this book has developed an elaborate rationalization which hold that the code of ethics embodied in the bible produced the humorous theories of nations and peoples that are designed to retard men's understanding of the scriptures . In keeping with the views of religious leaders, and through investigative observations of the scanty knowledge of many teachers of the scriptures, the author has found evidence of a combination of logic and legend .

The Religious Aspect of Warfare in the Ancient Near East, Greece and Rome is a volume dedicated to investigating the relationship between religion and war in antiquity in minute detail. The nineteen chapters are divided into three groups: the ancient Near East, Greece, and Rome. They are presented in turn and all possible aspects of warfare and its religious connections are investigated. The contributors focus on the theology of war, the role of priests in warfare, natural phenomena as signs for military activity, cruelty, piety, the divinity of humans in specific martial cases, rituals of war, iconographical representations and symbols of war, and even the archaeology of war. As editor Krzysztof Ulanowski invited both well-known specialists such as Robert Parker, Nicholas Sekunda, and Pietro Mander to contribute, as well as many young, talented scholars with fresh ideas. From this polyphony of voices, perspectives and opinions emerges a diverse, but coherent, representation of the complex relationship between religion and war in antiquity.
Throughout history, Jews have often been regarded, and treated, as "strangers." In The Stranger in Early Modern and Modern Jewish Tradition, authors from a wide variety of disciplines discuss how the notion of "the stranger" can offer an integrative perspective on Jewish identities, on the non-Jewish perceptions of Jews, and on the relations between Jews and non-Jews in an innovative way. Contributions from history, philosophy, religion, sociology, literature, and the arts offer a new perspective on the Jewish experience in early modern and modern times: in contact and conflict, in processes of attribution and allegation, but also self-reflection and negotiation, focused on the figure of the stranger.

I started writing years ago just writing notes and my feelings on a diary but the Lord told me to write my testimony because no test no testimony. That was my first book When God says move, move. Now I'm writing my second book which the Lord God instructed me to do as well, it is about some of the thinks God and I have gone thru together and some things He wants me to reveal to other believers. I would appreciate if you would take the time to read what He has to say to the church.

As a leading movement in contemporary Turkey with a universal educational and inter-faith agenda, the Gulen movement aims to promote creative and positive relations between the West and the Muslim world and to articulate a critically constructive position on such issues as democracy, multi-culturalism, globalisation, and interfaith dialogue in the context of secular modernity. Many countries in the predominantly Muslim world are in a time of transition and of opening to democratic development of which the so-called "Arab Spring" has seen only the most recent and dramatic developments. Particularly against that background, there has been a developing interest in "the Turkish model" of transition from authoritarianism to democracy. The Muslim World and Politics in Transition includes chapters written by international scholars with expertise in relation to the contexts that it addresses. It discusses how the Gulen movement has positioned itself and has sought to contribute within societies - including the movement's home country of Turkey - in which Muslims are in the majority and Islam forms a major part of the cultural, religious and historical inheritance. The movement and initiatives inspired by the Turkish Muslim scholar Fethullah Gulen began in Turkey, but can now be found throughout the world, including in both Europe and in the 'Muslim world'. Bloomsbury has a companion volume edited by Paul Weller and Ihsan Yilmaz on European Muslims, Civility and Public Life: Perspectives on and From the Gulen Movement.
