In an age where information is a commodity and financial freedom a much sought after desire, this book provides both to a subset of society. Giving the reader the essential tools to build a God pleasing and sustainable business in a tough economic climate. The desire for financial freedom is just one of many reasons why people start a business, but at the core of this desire is trust or lack of. We no longer trust the system, our employers or the government to provide for us, or our future, we want control back. In order to gain control we need knowledge, information and guidance. This book provides that much needed help, providing its reader with the correct information to start their journey to personal autonomy. Covering areas such as vision, planning, dominating the market, and using their Faith for progression. It fuses practical advice and tips with biblical revelations accompanied by God's scriptures.
We have many words that can describe our seasons of life. These words can lead to God's promises of love, mercy, and compassion. The Father wants to meet with you, refresh you, and encourage you...one word at a time. Jenny invites you to remember to live each day in the Light of God's faithfulness as she equips you with scriptures to remind you that, In Christ, every moment is a God moment. This devotional book is designed to be a study tool adaptable for group study, Sunday School lessons, devotions, or personal quiet times with the Lord. JENNY PFISTER is a powerful communicator, Bible teacher, and speaker whom God has anointed and used in a mighty way to touch the lives of countless women and men who are seeking the Lord. Gifted and lead by the Holy Spirit, Jenny thrives on teaching the Word of God through weekly interdenominational women's Bible studies and a weekly TV series called One Brushstroke at a Time. She also leads and teaches at women's retreats and conferences, offers spiritual direction and counsel to many, and regularly preaches and leads worship services at her home church, Breath of God Worship Ministry in Buckhannon, West Virginia. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Jenny felt overwhelming love for Jesus at an early age, and sensed God calling her to her first teaching ministry at the age of 22 at The Whitehouse Fellowship, a singles ministry at Timonium Presbyterian Church. At the same time, while teaching music at a private Jewish school in Owings Mills, Maryland, Jenny fell in love with the Old Testament. Layer upon layer, it exploded with life and relevance and became the canvas on which the Lord would paint a perfect picture of unity, truth, and fulfillment of the Old and New Testaments. The Lord was gradually birthing in Jenny the ministry that she would later establish, Brushstroke Ministries. After moving to West Virginia to serve in the Southern Baptist Convention as the state's keyboard and piano specialist, Jenny began to conduct women's Bible studies in homes and churches. In February 2001, she stepped out in faith and founded Brushstroke Ministries, a three-fold ministry of worship, prayer, and study of the Word of God for women of all denominations. Her fervent passion for the Word, along with her spiritual gifting and keen ear for the Lord's direction, has been Jenny's motivation for writing this series of devotional books. She paints a picture with her words, one brushstroke at a time, capturing the beauty of the Lord and His unfailing love for us. Those associated with this blessed ministry pray that as you read these devotionals, you will be touched by His Peace and find comfort in His Presence. To Him be all the glory
In an aggregate account, traditional churches collect more than $420 billion in tithes and donations annually. With such an extensive source of incoming wealth, it is unimaginable that the sincere needs of the donating parishioners are left unattended. The growing numbers of mega-churches are consistently ran and operated as businesses by affluent ministers who are treated more like celebrities rather than servants of Christ. They consider their church as their business and they attend to them as Corporate CEO's, leading unsuspecting would-be followers of Christ down an eternal road to spiritual destruction. This book, while destined to be controversial, promises to expose the very things celebrity-like ministers are hiding from thier unsuspecting congregation of followers. It exposes the materialism and greed that has crept its way into the church's pulpit, causing corruption so devastating that God himself has vowed not to dwell therein. It is packed full of truths and exposes an organized institution of unsound principles an immoral values that are being taught in order to keep you addicted to their incognito crack houses that are passing themselves off as churches in the name of Christ. This book should free you from the bondage of modern day church slavery and the witchcraft that many are following and practicing while being totally oblivious to what they are doing. Could it possibly be you? Are you still paying tithes and sewing seeds to get blessings from God? If your answer is yes, you need this truth You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free - but only if you are able to fully digest the truth that lies within the pages of this book.
This is a poetry book filled with inspirational messages that came about as the author Phyllis Butler was trying to overcome her doubts about life, self, love and relationships. Writing poems helped her to gradually heal and change her focus from herself to helping others by sending a message.
In my mind's eye, a little girl crouches in a dark and cluttered hallway closet. Mountains of stuff fill this tiny room, where she remains hidden from everyone and everything. Besides the stuff of anger and doubt in this small space, the walls have writing on them that names the fears, insecurities, and reasons for shielding herself from the unfamiliar and the unknown. Many times, the little girl tries to exit her safe place. With a mask of self-prescribed extroversion, she determinedly leaves the four walls of her secret domain to be good at things and people-a good student, wife, even a mother. Hesitantly, she tells herself that hope and joy are within reach. But after a short stay away from the security of the hallway closet, the little girl goes back inside and continues hiding from life. I was that young girl. I did not want to live this way any longer, so I cried out to God-who had been with me all along. He knew my pain, insecurities, anger, and fear. Bigger than any wall of self-protection I built, God would bring down these walls if I let him. My crying out was the first step.
LET THE AGES ROLL is a Bible-based book which expounds the truths in God's Word about longevity, health, and prosperity. God's Word has much to say about His will to lengthen your days, to give you health, and to provide the resources for living and giving. In Part Two of this book, the marriage of the author, and his wife Anna plays a very vital roll. They each lost their spouse in 2007. Many years had passed without seeing each other, even though the couples had been long-time friends. After a brief courtship Nolan and Anna were married in 2008. The happiness that came into their life has had a major influence on Part Two of LET THE AGES ROLL. The author calls attention to scriptures that encourage seniors to make good choices when facing life alone in their 'golden years'. God said, "It is not good that man should live alone" (King James Version). In LET THE AGES ROLL, Nolan addresses the purpose of grief and gives Biblical evidence that grief is meant to be temporary, not permanent. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. It is the author's desire that people love life and live it to the fullest.
This book is the diary of an Egyptian soldier of Armenian descent who served the Egyptian Army during the critical years 1968 through 1972, when Egypt was making preparations for the 1973 war with Israel. The book relates the details of his compulsory draft, his various unforgettable experiences, and after serving more than four years with no end in sight, his daring escape from the Army and the country. The story is the Author's first-hand description of daily life in the Egyptian Army, his trials and tribulations with a variety of circumstances and characters and close calls with Israeli planes at the Suez Canal. Finally it relates the nail-biting journey the Author took to freedom, to safely arrive, with God's merciful intervention, in the Promised Land, America.

In today's chaotic and challenging world, we all need encouragement. For the past fifteen years, my wife and I have utilized various daily devotionals for that helpful dose of inspiration to start our day. This book is written from the perspective of a not-so-perfect Christian in a manner that will speak to men and women of all ages and faiths, and provide them a simple encouraging, uplifting bit of insight for each day of the year. I believe this book will allow those who read it to gain a fresh understanding of God, His love for them, and His plan for their life. And as they begin to understand God's love, they will experience the joy and peace He offers to those who love and trust Him. The first 105 devotionals deal with Bible verses from Genesis to Revelations that speak about not being afraid. The second phase deals with verses from Matthew through Revelations that speak of God's love. And the remaining days of the year are writings on verses from Matthew through Revelations relating to joy and peace. The writing of these encouragements has blessed me beyond measure and brought me closer to the Lord than I ever thought I could be. I pray they do the same for you.
