Follow Juney Brown Toes, a young and adventurous Hare, her friends Slow Freddy and Tufty Thomas, and many others, as they spend a remarkable 'Mad March' day, racing, chasing and being chased by friends and enemies alike. What will Juney do when the evil Grey Hound shows up unexpectedly in the middle of a dangerous 'Hare of the Dog' game, and will Farmer, and his daughter Samantha, be of any help to save poor Slow Freddy from the jaws of the Grey Hound! Hare's have been a fascination of mine for sometime. I've rarely seen one! I remember walking above Lancaster, my hometown, some years ago. It was a beautiful, crisp, sunny morning and the ground was covered in a layer of snow. In nearly every field we walked through a Hare would bolt from the hedge nearby and race across the snow covered ground. They were magical to watch, almost alien in appearance, and completely fascinating to me. I have since done research on them, and they become more interesting with every new fact I learn. They are ancient animals, and ever present in mythologies from around the world. They are low down on the food chain, and even buck rabbits have been known to kill Leverets now and then. Speed and stealth are their only defenses, and they have been clocked at near forty-five miles an hour, one of the fastest land animals. Anyway I digress, this book is about Hares, it is primarily written as a 'read to' book, for children of all ages. It is an adventure/fantasy short story, and Hares are the heroes, with a little girl taking a strong supporting role. The cherry-wood carving of the Hare actually exists in my garden, and its origins, bought from the side of the road from a bodger, are true too. Otherwise this is a work of fiction written out of a love and fascination for Hares, I hope you enjoy.
The 65-Storey Treehouse is the fifth book in Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton's wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic cartoon-style illustrations. Andy and Terry's amazing 65-Storey Treehouse (it used to be 52 stories, but they keep expanding!) now has a pet-grooming salon, a birthday room where it's always your birthday (even when it's not), a room full of exploding eyeballs, a lollipop shop, a quicksand pit, an ant farm, a time machine ... which is going to be really, really useful now, since Terry messed up (again) and the treehouse just FAILED it's safety inspection. Join Andy and Terry on a whirlwind trip through time as they try to stop the treehouse from being demolished! Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!
The 104-Storey Treehouse is the eighth book of Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton's wacky treehouse adventures, where the laugh-out-loud story is told through a combination of text and fantastic cartoon-style illustrations. Join Andy and Terry in their now 104-storey spectacular treehouse. They've added thirteen new levels, including a never-ending staircase, a burp bank, and even a mighty fortress. But Andy and Terry are in a race against time to find a funny story for their next book - will the tooth fairy, the two-million-dollar shop or even the riddles of the deep-thoughts thinking room be able to help? Well, what are you waiting for? Come on up!

As a child, I begged my father to make up his wonderful stories as I tried to go to sleep. This book is a tribute to my father who steeped me in the family tradition of story telling. I found that making up stories was the only way to get my older daughter to sleep. This was in response to the frequent request of "stay with me while I go to sleep". After many years and now that both my daughters are grown up, I have put pen to paper to help distraught mums and dads get their small children to sleep. I wish you all sweet dreams
