Iker Casillas Fernandez is a Spanish football goalkeeper who captains the La Liga club Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. In 2008 he was on the Spanish team that won their first European Championship in 44 years, the Spanish team that went on to win Spain's first World Cup (a tournament in which he won the Yashin Award) and the 2012 European Championship.

Real Madrid
Casillas had started in a junior squad of Real Madrid's youth system during the 1990-91 season. On 27 November 1997 at age 16 he was first called up to the first team to face Rosenborg in Champions League, but it wasn't until the 1998-99 season that he debuted in the senior side, substituting Bodo Illgner. By the next season, he relegated Illgner to the bench and became first-choice, In 2000, he became the youngest ever goalkeeper to play in a Champions League final when Real Madrid defeated Valencia 3-0, just four days after his nineteenth birthday.

Casillas lost his place in the side to backup Cesar Sanchez after a patch of bad form during the 2001-02 campaign, but redeemed himself when Sanchez suffered an injury in the last minutes of 2002 Champions League final match. Casillas came on and pulled off several brilliant saves to deny a rampant Bayer Leverkusen the Champions League crown. Real Madrid won 2-1 and Casillas has maintained the number 1 shirt ever Since.

Michael Richard Dawson (born 18 November 1983) is an English footballer who plays for Tottenham Hotspur and the England national football team.

Midway through the 2009-10 season, Dawson became the team captain of Tottenham Hotspur as Robbie Keane left for Celtic on loan in January. His form that season saw him included in England's preliminary World Cup squad. Although he initially failed to make the final 23-man squad, an injury to captain Rio Ferdinand saw him drafted in as replacement.

Tottenham Hotspur
In the 200809 season Dawson was to see his playing opportunities become more limited due to the arrival the previous season of Jonathan Woodgate from Middlesbrough. The 2009-10 Premiership season was to be regarded by many as Dawson's finest season in a Spurs shirt to date as he helped the club to a fourth-place finish, their highest league finish for 20 years and a qualification place for the UEFA Champions League. Initially Dawson was to once again struggle to get into the side partly due to the arrival of Sebastien Bassong from Newcastle in the summer, however after Tottenham's 9-1 demolition of Wigan Athletic in November and with ongoing injury problems to defensive duo King and Woodgate, Dawson was to establish himself as a rock at the heart of Tottenham's defence. He was to miss just one of Spurs' games for the remainder of the season and his leadership on and off the pitch saw him awarded the team captaincy after the loan departure of Keane to Celtic.

It was announced on 27 January 2010 that he had signed a new five year contract with Tottenham Hotspur taking him to 2015. Dawson's excellent performances throughout the course of the season saw him awarded Tottenham Hotspur's Player of the Year award. His form that season led to Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez calling him "the best English defender I have played against" due to his strength. On Monday 22 August 2011, he started and played the full 90 minutes alongside Younes Kaboul against Manchester United in a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford. On Sunday 28 August 2011, Dawson started and played the full 90 minutes Manchester City at White Hart Lane in a 5-1 defeat. Dawson is set to miss the rest of the 2011-12 season due to rupture ankle ligament during Spurs' 3-1 FA Cup win over Stevenage.

A constant work in progress, Mesut Ozil has quickly earned a reputation as an elegant and versatile midfielder. His knack for the final pass, his free-flowing movement on every third of the pitch and his exquisite left foot earned Ozil a spot in Shalke 04's academy in 2005. It only took one season for the midfielder to earn his promotion to the first team and he made his Bundesliga debut at the age of 17.

During the winter transfer window 0f 2008, Ozil completed a switch to Werder Bremen, where he played over 60 matches and scored 13 goals. With Werder, the midfielder went on to win the 2009 DFB Cup and the 2009 DFL Supercup. On an individual level, Ozil was rewarded for his outstanding Bundesliga play by being named the best player of the first leg of the 2009 season.

Ozil is paving the way for the German national team's new generation of players. Although of Turkish decent, his entire life has been committed to Germany. He played for the Under-17 side and moved his way up to the Under-21 side, which won the 2009 European Championship. Ozil provided two assists and scored a goal in the final against England.

His debut with the senior side dates back to 12 August 2009, when Germany defeated Azerbaijan. Ozil continued to impress in World Cup qualifiers and by the end of the 2010 World Cup was among the ten finalists for the Golden Boot.

Now in his sixth season at the club, Ashley Cole was a 2006 summer deadline day signing from Arsenal, to whom we paid Ł5 million plus William Gallas, and he made his debut against Werder Bremen in September that year. A fabulous athlete who loves to go forward, he admitted at that season's end that Blues fans had yet to see him at his very best, a series of injures having hindered the settling process. Competition with Wayne Bridge for the left-back slot had ended with a roughly even share of games. An ankle operation in the summer cleared the way for an uninhibited start to the 2007/08 campaign and with Bridge injured, Ashley got off to a flyer and enjoy the lion's share of matches that season, particularly for the big encounters.

His first Chelsea goal was lashed in away at West Ham in March 2008, and after surviving an injury scare in training on the eve of the Champions League Final, he recovered to put in one of the best displays on the night, including a successful shoot-out penalty. In 2008/09 under Luiz Felipe Scolari, Ashley was utilised far more in attack but with the arrival of Guus Hiddink, the full-back had his wings clipped, focusing more on defence, a tactic that paid off with a number of clean sheets. Voted Players' Player of the Year at the end of 2008/09, Ashley had put previous injury concerns behind him to turn in a personal record number of club appearances in a season (49). He won the FA Cup against Everton in 2009, a feat repeated in May 2010 against Portsmouth when he entered the record books as the only man to win six FA Cups, three with Chelsea in 2007, 2009 and 2010, and three with Arsenal.

The latest came at the end of another season of unfaltering consistency for arguably the best left-back in the world, his sixth FA Cup joined by his second Double, along with Nicolas Anelka the first man to do so with two different clubs. On a personal level, he scored a record four times in the same season, including the Chelsea Goal of the Season against Sunderland in January, a deft flick after controlling John Terry's long pass expertly and cutting inside his man.

He supplied goals against Stoke and Tottenham, while finding the scoresheet in explosive fashion against Burnley, and then Spurs, before twice claiming assists at former club Arsenal in November 2009.

After fracturing his ankle in a challenge with Everton's Landon Donovan in Februrary, dedication and a fast-healing body helped him back before the end of April for the 7-0 win against Stoke, and he found the net one more time against Wigan on the final day of the league season. For the first time in his career, 2010/11 saw him end the campaign as a Premier League ever-present, having started all 38 league matches. It was a figure that helped him over the 200-game mark for Chelsea, and for the second time in his Stamford Bridge career he ended the season as Players' Player of the Year, and returned into the PFA's representative XI, the only Chelsea man in the side, as well as Uefa's Team of the Year for 2010. Pre-Chelsea A product of Arsenal's youth system, Ashley was born in east London and made his debut for the Gunners at the age of 18 in the League Cup.

He spent a three-month loan period at Crystal Palace at the end of the 1999/00 season, making 14 appearances and scoring one goal, his progress rewarded with his first Premiership appearance in the final league game of the season.

By the end of the following campaign, Ashley had taken over as first choice left-back from Silvinho, and the next season was handed his first winners' medals as Arsenal secured the Double, beating Chelsea in the Final. A year later Southampton were beaten in Cardiff to take the Cup tally to two.

He was also well on the way to his second Premiership title (playing 32 times in Arsenal's unbeaten league season of 2003/04) and had become an England international.

A third FA Cup win was added in 2005, and although his final Arsenal season saw him hampered by injuries, he recovered to start their Champions League Final defeat by Barcelona, his last game for the club. International career Having played for England at youth and Under 21 levels, Ashley was named in Sven-Goran Eriksson's first squad and made his full international debut against Albania in March 2001. He played all five England games at the World Cup in 2002 and for many people, was one of his nation's star performers during Euro 2004 in Portugal. He was named in the all-star squad for the tournament.

He also played each of England's five games at the 2006 World Cup, but was absent in crucial qualifiers as they missed out on Euro 2008.

After nine years at the top of the game, he became England's joint-most-capped full-back in October 2010, matching Kenny Sansom's 86 caps in the 0-0 draw with Montenegro, going on to break the record in subsequent games, and he will now be earmarking a century of appearances for his country. He was voted England's Player of the Year for 2010 by supporters.

Oriol Romeu Vidal is a Spanish footballer who plays for Chelsea in the Premier League. Mainly a defensive midfielder, he can also operate as a central defender.

Chelsea
Reports began to link Romeu with a move to Chelsea on 22 July, 2011. The following day, he agreed terms for his transfer, pending a medical or personal terms as he was away on international duty at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup. On 4 August, the English club announced the completion of the transfer, with the player signing a four-year contract in a deal worth 5 million. The deal also gave Barcelona first refusal via a buy back option should Chelsea deem him surplus to requirements, seeing Barcelona pay 10 million in 2012 or 15 million in 2013 to bring him back to the Camp Nou; he was given the number 6 shirt for the 2011-12 season.

Romeu made his official debut for Chelsea on 10 September 2011, being brought on as a substitute in the 79th minute of the 2-1 away win against Sunderland. He received his first start on the 21st, in a 0-0 draw (penalty shootout win) against Fulham for the season's Football League Cup.

He retained his position for the following league game, against Newcastle United at St. James' Park, which finished with the same score.

In December of 2011, Chelsea issued a statement regarding the deal surrounding Romeu's buy back clause with Barcelona. The statement highlighted that FC Barcelona did not have an automatic buy back clause as first suggested, only having first refusal on any deal if Chelsea wanted to sell him in the future.

Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Junior, known as Oscar, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the Brazil national team.

Oscar began his career at Sao Paulo FC, where he won the Brazilian Serie A in 2008. In 2009, he went to court against the club due to irregularities in his contract. After a series of controversies he left for Internacional, where he spent the next three years of his career. His displays for club and country led to him signing for Premier League club Chelsea in 2012.

Oscar is a Brazil international and has represented his country at U-20 level, at the 2012 London Olympics and at senior level. On 20 August 2011, Oscar scored three goals in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup final win against Portugal, becoming the first player to score a hat-trick in the FIFA U-20 World Cup final. Oscar later described his performances at the tournament as being a "gateway to the senior side". He earned his first cap for the national team against Argentina. His first goal also came against Argentina in a 3-4 defeat in June 2012.

His playing style and ability have drawn comparison to Brazil international Kaka and Germany international Mesut Ozil.

Oscar then made his first Premier League start in a 1-0 victory over Stoke. Following his good performances, Oscar became a regular starter in Roberto Di Matteo's creative midfield triumvirate with Juan Mata and Eden Hazard. Oscar scored his third goal of the season and in the Champions League during Chelsea's 2-1 defeat away at Shakhtar Donetsk. Oscar continued his brilliant scoring record in Europe by scoring in an open net from 40 yards out in the reverse fixture against Shakhtar at Stamford Bridge, in which Chelsea won 3-2. Fraser Gerard Forster is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Celtic.

He started his career with Newcastle and has had loan spells with Stockport County, Bristol Rovers and Norwich City as well as being on loan to Celtic for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.

Celtic
On 24 August 2010, Forster joined Celtic on a season-long loan from Newcastle. Celtic manager Neil Lennon described Forster by saying, "He's a big boy, he's come highly recommended, his age is the only thing going against him because otherwise he's all the qualities you look for." He made his Celtic debut on 29 August 2010 away at Motherwell and kept a clean sheet as Celtic won 1-0. He then went on to play in every match of Celtic's season with the exception of two cup matches.

Forster had a successful season with Celtic, winning a runner-up medal in the League Cup and Scottish Premier League. Between them, Forster and fellow goalkeeper kept 23 clean sheets in the league, breaking Celtic's previous clean sheet record from the 2001-02 season. Forster kept 21 of the clean sheets. He capped off his season with a 3-0 victory over Motherwell to help Celtic win the Scottish Cup. In total, he kept 24 clean sheets in 44 matches for Celtic.

After appearing for Newcastle in pre-season against Darlington, Orlando City, Leeds United and Fiorentina, as well as being named among the substitutes for the opening game of the Premier League season against Arsenal, Forster rejoined Celtic, on loan for the remainder of the season, on 17 August 2011. He helped Celtic draw 0-0 against FC Sion at home, but then lost 3-1 in the away leg, only for the UEFA to reinstate Celtic into the Europa League with 3-0 wins in both legs after Sion were found to be fielding ineligible players, thus allowing Forster to keep his two only clean sheets in Europe for the season, as he conceded in all the five group games he played in.

Forster had a successful 2011-12 season with Celtic, winning the Scottish Premier League and helping his team beat the previous season's record of 23 clean sheets. He and Zaluska kept 25 clean sheets combined, Forster racking up 21 of them. In total, he kept 26 clean sheets from 47 games.

On 30 June 2012, it was announced that Forster had signed for Celtic on a permanent deal.

R742 Discovery Miles 7 420 Ships in 8 - 13 working days

Daniel Sturridge boosted Liverpool's striking ranks when he arrived at Anfield from Chelsea on the second day of 2013.

The striker was born in Birmingham on September 1, 1989 and began his youth career at his hometown club Aston Villa before moving to Coventry and then Manchester City in 2003.

He faced Liverpool for the first time in 2006 in the FA Youth Cup final. The youngest player in the City side, Sturridge fired four goals en route to the final but the young Reds proved too strong as they ran-out 3-2 winners on aggregate.

Sturridge's impressive form at youth level earned him his first professional contract and at the start of the 2006-07 season, the forward began to train with City's first team.

Despite making his debut as a substitute against Reading in February 2007, the youngster was forced to endure a nine-month absence following an operation to repair muscle damage around his hip which ruled him out for the remainder of the year.

Fully-recovered and determined to make his mark, Sturridge netted his first professional goal in January 2008 and three days later he added another to his tally when he struck on his full debut against Derby.

The 2007-08 season ended in glory for him, albeit at youth level, when he was top-scorer as City won the FA Youth Cup.

The following season saw Sturridge break into the City first team, making 16 appearances and netting four goals while creating three assists. His flourishing performances were acknowledged with the club's Young Player of the Season award.

However, accepting the award was to be one of his final acts as a City player, for in July 2009 his contract expired and the 19-year-old opted for a move to Chelsea.

Following an impressive pre-season, he made his debut for Carlo Ancelotti's title winners-to-be against Sunderland in August 2009 and got his first start for the club against Bolton at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup.

At the end of his first season at Chelsea, Sturridge was the club's highest scorer in the FA Cup with four strikes as the Londoners clinched the double with a 1-0 win over Portsmouth at Wembley.

The 2010-11 campaign saw Sturridge make his Champions League bow against Slovakian outfit MSK Zilina and net four goals in 21 games; however, on the last day of the transfer window in January 2011, it was announced that the forward would be on his way to Bolton as part of a loan deal.

Sturridge shone at the Reebok. He netted on his debut for Owen Coyle's side and was a consistent scorer in the Barclays Premier League, ending his stay there with a total of eight goals in 12 appearances - including one against Arsenal.

Back at Chelsea, new manager Andre Villas-Boas used Sturridge in a wide role, urging him to cut inside and shoot from the right flank.

He was named as a substitute in both the FA Cup and Champions League finals by Villas-Boas' replacement Roberto Di Matteo and finished the 2011-12 season with a tally of 13 goals.

But his time at Chelsea was clearly drawing to a close and Brendan Rodgers swooped to bring Sturridge to Merseyside, concluding a deal at the outset of the 2013 January transfer window.

Perhaps neither man could have anticipated such an instant impact, as Sturridge scored seven minutes into his debut against Mansfield Town in the FA Cup on January 6.

Another strike followed from the substitutes' bench at Old Trafford a week later and by notching at home to Norwich, Sturridge became the first Liverpool player for almost 40 years to score in each of his first three appearances for the club.
