dad is challenging him toplay the best of the best at the Little
League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. But does he just
want to get Josh out of the way?
Two things are sure: His father's new girlfriend, Diane, is

Ben gaan in sy heel eerste rugbywedstryd speel. Sy maag gee sommer so
Ben and the Big Game is ’n lieflike storie wat kinders leer dat dit
almal soms foute maak en dat dit jou nie moet onderkry nie, maar dat jy
eerder uit foute moet leer en altyd weer probeer.
Jake Thorson, the Vikings team captain, gets all the credit. He
leads the team in home runs, and everybody loves him for it -- that
is, everyone but his brother, Luke. Luke isnt popular, and he
hasn't hit a single home run -- but he does have the teams best
batting average as well as the most stolen bases. However, those
types of things dont really get you the attention that a homer
does, and Lukes tired of standing in the Jakes shadow . . .
'Ok, lads, you have everything you need to win this game. So go out
and do it ,' said the coach. Eoin's not sure if it will be so easy!
He's just started a new school ... and a new sport. Everyone at
school is mad about rugby, but Eoin hasn't even held a rugby ball
before! With new rules to learn, new friends to make and new
teachers to get a handle on, he really doesn't need to have Richie
Duffy, the resident bully, picking him out as his latest target!
And just who is this guy, Brian, who looks so out-of-date, but
gives great rugby advice?

wizard to do?

Henry Heckelbeck chapter books are perfect for beginning readers.

his kayak with the camp director in it. Froggy will keep his fans
laughing with his latest antics.
Twelve-year-old Ana-Marie Jin, the reigning US Juvenile figure
skating champion, is not a frilly dress kind of kid. So, when Ana
learns that next season's program will be princess themed, doubt
forms fast. Still, Ana tries to focus on training and putting
together a stellar routine worthy of national success. Once Ana
meets Hayden, a transgender boy new to the rink, thoughts about the
princess program and gender identity begin to take center stage.
And when Hayden mistakes Ana for a boy, Ana doesn't correct him and
finds comfort in this boyish identity when he's around. As their
friendship develops, Ana realizes that it's tricky juggling two
different identities on one slippery sheet of ice. And with a major
competition approaching, Ana must decide whether telling everyone
the truth is worth risking years of hard work and sacrifice.
